At the International Exhibition on Fire Prevention and Fighting (PCCC), Rescue and Security Equipment and Safety Protection in 2025 organized by the Fire Police Department, taking place at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center in Tan My Ward (old District 7), many modern UAV (unmanned aerial vehicle) models for fire fighting and rescue were introduced. The event lasted until the end of today.
A series of UAVs made in Vietnam
One of the highlights is the 6-propeller UAV manufactured by CT Group, capable of detecting fires early, carrying a maximum of 25 kg, flying 20 km in 30-60 minutes depending on the load, maximum speed of 15 m/s and wind resistance level 6.
UAVs can carry pumps and fire-fighting equipment to high-rise buildings, integrate thermal cameras, announcement speakers, and customize additional features according to customer requirements.
Recently, CT Group signed a contract to export 5,000 heavy-duty transport UAVs (60-300 kg payload, 85% localization rate) to Korea.
The introduced device costs about 25,000 USD, or more than 650 million VND, this price can change depending on whether customers choose to integrate more or less features.

Another UAV model with a payload of about 5 kg, priced from 5,000 USD (about 130 million VND) or more, is equipped with the function of early detection of areas at risk of fire and real-time data collection.
In addition, the Hera multi-mission UAV of Real-time Robotics Company (Ho Chi Minh City High-Tech Park) costs about 40,000 USD (more than 1 billion VND), has a steel structure (57x36 cm), can carry over 30 kg of equipment, and has an operating range of 15 km.
Hera integrates a camera that processes images beyond the naked eye's range of vision, a Lidars sensor that draws 3D maps, and a controller that connects to 4G, wifi, and bluetooth, with a thermal screen to help find victims trapped in rubble, rivers, and seas.

Meanwhile, the three-propeller UAV of Z113 Company (General Department of Defense Industry) is designed like a dragonfly, with two launchers containing ABC fire-extinguishing powder. The device can extinguish a fire in a 27-square-meter room in a high-rise building.
Each UAV costs about 700 million VND, and each bullet costs 3 million VND. The machine also has an automatic flight station to charge, take off and land, fly to the fire point and transmit coordinates to ground forces.

Many types of new generation fire fighting cameras and robots
In addition to UAVs, the exhibition also displays new generation firefighting robots and AI cameras that detect fires early.
UAVs are currently considered an important technology with wide application in industry, agriculture, transportation, urban management, security, military and especially fire prevention and rescue.
However, in Vietnam, although many businesses have participated in development, the number of export orders is still modest compared to the potential.
