According to the people of Hanh village, for many years now, the locality has not had a solid bridge across the Ac River. Therefore, people have had to build a temporary bamboo bridge to go to the commune center and other villages, as well as for students to go to school.
However, during the recent flood, this temporary bridge was washed away, isolating the entire Hanh village for many days, making travel very difficult.
Now that the flood water on the Ac River has receded, local people have had to make makeshift rafts to cross the river to buy food, receive relief goods, and take students to school.
However, traveling by raft has potential risks that affect people's lives and safety.
According to the People's Committee of Xuan Chinh commune, Hanh village currently has 30 households with 116 people, mainly Thai ethnic people.
For many years, local people have requested superiors to build a solid bridge to safely cross the Ac River, especially during the rainy season. At the same time, it will help people develop the economy and gradually escape poverty, but so far it has not been approved by superiors.
