In 2024, under the leadership of the Provincial Party Committee and the direction of the Provincial People's Committee, the province's economy continued to develop comprehensively, 17/17 main socio-economic targets were achieved and exceeded the set plan; the economic growth rate reached 9.53%, the highest in the past 15 years, among the 10/63 localities with high growth rates in the country. Many enterprises in the province have made strong development steps, jobs for workers, civil servants and laborers (CNVCLĐ) are basically guaranteed, there is no situation of workers (CNVCLĐ) being underemployed or unemployed for a long time. The average income of workers in 2024 reached an average of over 7.6 million VND/person/month.

Currently, in the province, there are 3,822 enterprises reporting salaries with a total of over 192,000 employees. Many enterprises have announced the expected salary and Tet bonus for employees such as: Tasa Ceramic Tile Joint Stock Company (Thuy Van Industrial Park, Viet Tri City) with the highest salary of 153.8 million VND, the highest expected Lunar New Year bonus of 159 million VND; FDI enterprises such as Yida Vietnam Co., Ltd. (Cam Khe town, Cam Khe district) with the highest salary of 98 million VND, the highest Tet bonus of 98 million VND. Some enterprises, due to reduced orders or no orders, pay salaries at the regional minimum wage and expect to give the lowest bonus to newly recruited employees of 300,000 VND. In addition, when employees work on Tet, they will be counted as overtime and receive overtime pay according to the provisions of the 2019 Labor Code...
Along with the salary and bonus regime, many activities to take care of employees during Tet have been organized by all levels, sectors and unions. The Provincial Labor Confederation has spent more than 2.2 billion VND to support union members and workers in difficult and especially difficult circumstances on the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2025; presented 50 Tet gifts worth 1.3 million VND each to workers in difficult circumstances. In addition, the Provincial Labor Confederation also organized the "2025 Trade Union Tet Market" with the participation of 31 units and enterprises with nearly 200 essential goods, OCOP goods, agricultural products, local specialties... to serve union members and workers during Tet.

(Thuy Van Industrial Park) shared: The programs organized by the trade unions at all levels for us workers are really meaningful during the time before Tet. We have enjoyed many benefits from essential goods and services at preferential prices; participated in cultural, artistic, and sports activities, given gifts, and won prizes, which is very exciting.
Yakjin Vietnam Co., Ltd. (Thuy Van Industrial Park, Viet Tri City) with more than 3,500 employees, of which female employees account for over 99%, specializes in manufacturing and trading garment products for export. Despite many difficulties, the company still strives to maintain production, provide jobs, stabilize income for employees and fully take care of policies and regimes related to employees, while taking care of Tet for employees thoughtfully and fully. The company has also organized the program "Tet Sum Vay - Spring Sharing" in 2024 for union members and employees. At the program, the company organized many activities to celebrate Spring and welcome Tet such as wrapping banh chung, displaying fruit trays, Donut eating contests, lucky draws..., giving 140 gifts worth over 130 million VND to employees in difficult circumstances.
Many activities to take care of Tet were proactively implemented early by enterprises such as: Pangrim Neotex LLC; Seshin Vietnam LLC; Yakjin LLC, Opus One LLC, Shinhwa Thien Xuan Trading LLC... Enterprises all proactively prepared logistics to serve people on duty during Tet; organized giving Tet gifts to staff and employees; subsidized workers' families in difficult circumstances, and supported bus tickets for workers living far away to return home for Tet.
The Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs and the Provincial Labor Federation have also increased the socialization of resources to support union members and employees in difficult circumstances, helping them stay with their businesses to celebrate Tet; regularly inspect and supervise the implementation of salary and bonus policies for employees; promptly grasp their thoughts and aspirations; propagate and mobilize union members and employees to celebrate Tet and enjoy Spring economically, safely, comply with legal regulations and return to work on time.
