Communication campaign on Marriage and Family Law, prevention of early marriage and incestuous marriage

The Tan Son District Ethnic Affairs Department has just coordinated with Tan Son District Youth Union to simultaneously launch a Communication and Propaganda Campaign on the Law on Marriage and Family, preventing child marriage and incestuous marriage in 5 communes: Kim Thuong, Thu Cuc, Xuan Dai, Thu Ngac, My Thuan with the participation of over 250 youth union members.

The campaign was implemented in the form of mobile communication, radio parades combined with leaflet distribution in areas and hamlets in 5 communes. During the campaign, the Organizing Committee deployed propaganda content on knowledge of marriage and family law, prevention of early marriage and incestuous marriage. Through the communication campaign, the Organizing Committee hopes to contribute to gradually improving population quality, improving community health, protecting and developing family happiness, and building a civilized lifestyle in the district.

Implementing Sub-Project 2 of Project 9 under the National Target Program on Socio-Economic Development of Ethnic Minority and Mountainous Areas for the 2021-2030 period on Reducing Child Marriage and Consanguineous Marriage in Ethnic Minority Areas, the Ethnic Minority Affairs Department also distributed 5,000 leaflets in 17 communes and hung banners and posters in communes and particularly disadvantaged residential areas of the district.
