Officially abolish the form of student suspension

(QNgTV)- From October 2025, many new educational policies will take effect. The most prominent policy is Circular 19/2025 of the Ministry of Education and Training regulating rewards and discipline for students, effective from October 31.

After nearly 40 years, this circular officially replaces Circular No. 08 on student rewards and discipline which was issued in 1988.

According to the new regulations, the principles for handling student violations must be based on respect, tolerance, objectivity, and no prejudice; while ensuring suitability with the students' psychological, gender, and physical characteristics.

Accordingly, pursuant to Article 13 of Circular 19/2025, disciplinary measures are stipulated as follows: Disciplinary measures for primary school students; Warnings and requests for apology. Disciplinary measures for students other than primary school students include warnings; criticism and requests to write a self-criticism.
