Endure the 'painful moment by moment' ordeal

The painful divorce attracted much public and media attention - perhaps Dang Le Nguyen Vu also considered it a big challenge when he determined to find ultimate answers to questions about Humanism, Worldview and Cosmology.

But according to Anh, the challenge came even earlier when he began by practicing 49 days of fasting meditation in the mountains “to close off the needs of the body so that he could overcome the trivial barriers to the development of intelligence and spirit”.

Fasting and meditation are still practiced by the people, but Anh's 2013 hunger strike and silent meditation caused many unfavorable speculations about his "difficult to explain" mental state to ordinary people. He said that it successfully "knocked down his previous arrogant and arrogant ego". It was considered as overcoming "the test and purification of the Body".

He then underwent the “Test and Purification of Mind and Heart” himself by secluding himself in a cave at M'Drak. Only recently has he received a limited number of outside visitors and revived public interest through press reports.

Strange images of the life, house, horse farm, and supercar of the Chairman of Trung Nguyen Coffee Group continue to attract public attention.

He lived there with “absolute discipline, absolute goodness and absolute faith” to study, write down diagrams and formulas for the multifaceted development that his heart desired.

In the document describing “Continuing the ultimate challenge in every moment of existence” what do you have to face?

The document states: “In the face of doubts, slander, betrayal, sabotage, and even harm from those closest to him, or those most trusted, or from those who hold the power of the existing world, collective ignorance...”, he still strictly maintained his discipline, sincere wisdom, and good heart.

He considered all the hardships and pains as "tests" to overcome.

In the most recent meeting at the end of June 2023, receiving journalist Hoai Thanh (Dan Tri Newspaper) and two old friends in the restaurant in M'Drak, "Coffee King" Dang Le Nguyen Vu talked about his work and many confidences.

“I am happy to welcome you guys with good intentions, but I really don’t want to meet anyone. You have to understand the message, you have to know what to do, just chatting over coffee won’t solve anything.”

“...A perfect human being has 3 things: Body - Mind - Intelligence. Body is the form. Intelligence is learning and understanding. But the most important thing is the Mind. The light of the mind is the true light.”

According to Anh, humans have a “gaseous state” that science has yet to discover. “We have to learn slowly.”

He said it felt like “countries all over the world were returning to nationalism. Our country seemed to have a local clan feel. It was no longer cohesive like it was during the time of the anti-American resistance.”

“... I have written many things, summarizing history, the past, examining the entire existence on a large scale of humanity and designing the future. There is a climate and environmental crisis caused by destruction, how to overcome it? Go to the end. I say that reducing ABC will never solve the problem.

We must solve the problem at its root by living a wise life, we must create a way of life. It is not difficult, it is only difficult when we do not know the way. We must have light to know the way. No more poverty, no more suffering, comprehensive wealth...

Journalist Hoai Thanh, after writing the article "Through loneliness, no one understands" - felt: "He is very kind in the way he speaks, still consistent and confident in what he shares even though the person he is talking to may not fully understand."

Before seeing the guests out of the cave, the “Coffee King” said: “You have to practice hard. You have to ponder over this knowledge before you can apply it to your life.”

• During nearly 10 years of “hiding” in the Cave, Dang Le Nguyen Vu knew everything about life outside. Sometimes he drove himself back to Saigon without entering the Trung Nguyen headquarters. The guards were “shocked” to realize that “the Chairman’s car had just passed by”.

Later, it was known that Anh wandered alone and met poor people selling lottery tickets. They happily told him many stories, and he was very happy and sympathetic, surprised and impressed when he saw that "just giving a little money - one million - made them feel happy and touched".

Dang Le Nguyen Vu is probably the businessman who has taken up the most press and is followed the most by the public, including those who understand the story and those who find it strange. On youtube, there are always many clips floating around with questions like “Is Mr. Vu normal?”, along with many clips praising him as a successful idol.

Well... freedom of feeling is everyone's right. But it is clear that he is a successful, wealthy businessman who chooses a strict lifestyle for himself, a special person who is always tormented by thoughts of wanting to invent and contribute. He once answered an interview: "Every citizen has the right to think big."

After all, it is a person who has clearly defined personal characteristics: Think Big and Be Good.
