According to initial investigation, Giang is the owner of the branch of Hoang Giang Environmental Engineering Company Limited (in Lai Hung commune, Bau Bang district).

During his operations, Giang allowed others to dump and bury more than 2.2 million kg of industrial waste on thousands of square meters of land in the company, for profit.

By professional measures, the police force identified the location of the illegal waste landfill and proceeded to inspect.

Through on-site inspection, the authorities discovered industrial waste buried haphazardly on an area of thousands of square meters. This area is surrounded by corrugated iron, located between rubber plantations.

Determining that Giang's behavior had signs of causing environmental pollution, the investigation agency initiated a case and prosecuted the defendant.
