On July 9 and 10, a working delegation of the Veterans Association of Lam Dong province led by Mr. Vu Cong Tien - Chairman of the Association visited and learned about the activities of the Veterans Association of communes in the former Dak Nong area.

At the working session with the Association of War Veterans of Dak Nong province (old), the delegation discussed and acknowledged the results in organizing and maintaining Association activities at the grassroots level.

In particular, the delegation visited and worked directly with the Veterans Association of Quang Truc commune. This is a particularly difficult border commune of Tuy Duc district, Dak Nong province (old), bordering Cambodia.

The Association of War Veterans of Quang Truc commune is assessed to operate in a disciplined and effective manner; many members boldly borrow capital from banks to develop the economy, avoiding bad debt.

On this occasion, the Lam Dong Provincial Veterans Association presented 10 gifts (each worth 500,000 VND) to members in difficult circumstances in Quang Truc commune, contributing to encouraging and motivating them to improve their lives.
