In the warm atmosphere of the beginning of the Spring of At Ty, on the occasion of the beginning of the new year, on the morning of February 6 (January 9), President Luong Cuong presided over the incense offering ceremony to open the spring of At Ty 2025 at the Thang Long Imperial Citadel relic site.

Attending the incense offering ceremony were Politburo members: Party Central Committee Secretary, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Do Van Chien; Hanoi Party Committee Secretary Bui Thi Minh Hoai; Party Central Committee members: Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs Bui Thanh Son; National Assembly Vice Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Thanh; representatives of leaders of central departments, ministries, branches and Hanoi City.

The incense offering ceremony was solemnly held, expressing respect and gratitude to the wise kings and virtuous subjects who had contributed to opening the Thang Long culture and enlightening Dai Viet civilization. This activity contributed to preserving the good customs and practices of our ancestors, inspiring the quintessence of national culture and educating the tradition for the younger generation.

Before the Dragon Threshold, Kinh Thien Palace - relic site At Thang Long Imperial Citadel, where the sacred energy of the country's mountains and rivers converges, President Luong Cuong presided over the incense offering ceremony to express his respect and pray for national peace, people's security, national strength, and world peace; to commemorate and pay tribute to the merits of the ancestors who opened up the Thang Long culture, enlightened Dai Viet civilization, and passed it on to the glorious Ho Chi Minh era.

The Spring Incense Offering Ceremony at Thang Long Imperial Citadel is an activity that continues the tradition of remembering the source of drinking water, held on the occasion of the traditional New Year every year, with respectful and solemn rituals to commemorate the ancestors, the talented people and generations of fathers who shed so much blood to preserve and protect the Vietnamese mountains and rivers; reporting to the ancestors the outstanding and comprehensive achievements of the country in the past year.

This year's Spring Incense Offering Ceremony includes many traditional rituals such as: Incense offering, sacrifices and many folk cultural activities such as dragon dance, drums, flag dance; rituals recreating the image of the Dragon and Fairy's children, with the wish for favorable weather, upholding the martial spirit and the nation's tradition of remembering its source; demonstrating the heroic spirit of Thang Long - Hanoi, a thousand years of civilization. This is also the highlight in the series of events to welcome the New Year and Spring at the Imperial Citadel of Thang Long - Hanoi.
