Regarding the difficulties of the Quang Ngai - Hoai Nhon Expressway Project, the Chairman of the Quang Ngai Provincial People's Committee directed the units to resolve them, and at the same time requested to speed up the progress, to open the route by August 30 at the latest.

On August 6, Chairman of the People's Committee of Quang Ngai province Nguyen Hoang Giang chaired a working session with units and localities to direct the removal of a number of obstacles related to the Quang Ngai - Hoai Nhon section project, part of the North - South expressway construction project in the east, phase 2021 - 2025.

Accordingly, the Quang Ngai - Hoai Nhon component project has a length of 88km, of which the section passing through Quang Ngai province is 60.3km long. Up to now, the main items have been basically completed such as roadbed filling, tunnel No. 1 and tunnel No. 2 construction. Of the total 77 bridges on the route, 70 bridges have had girders installed and are under bridge deck construction. The project is entering the finishing stage, the remaining workload is not large. To ensure progress, contractors have mobilized 3,450 engineers, workers and more than 1,400 machines and equipment.
