Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Pham Ngoc Nghi inspected livestock project activities in Ea Sup district.

On the morning of September 5, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Pham Ngoc Nghi visited and inspected the operation of the Project "Industrial pig farm combined with industrial and agricultural crop cultivation" in Ya To Mot commune, Ea Sup district.

The above project is invested by Ea Sup Investment and Livestock Joint Stock Company, with a total cost of 192 billion VND.

The project includes a modern, closed, cold-farm pig farming system with a scale of 3,600 sows, 80 boars and 24,000 pigs per litter.

In addition, the investor also built a green buffer zone for project activities to minimize the impact of pig farms on the environment. The project officially went into operation in early 2023.

Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Pham Ngoc Nghi discussed with representatives of the project investor.

Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Pham Ngoc Nghi and leaders of the District Party Committee and People's Committee of Ea Sup district inspected the farm area, workers' housing and checked the project's wastewater treatment system.

Provincial leaders requested that the company pay special attention to environmental work to avoid polluting the environment in the project area, affecting the lives of local people; focus on applying high technology in livestock farming and veterinary medicine.

The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee also noted that businesses need to invest in factories and slaughterhouses to process livestock meat to increase product value, thereby increasing the overall efficiency of the project, contributing to creating jobs for local workers and contributing to the budget.
