Final round of the Competition to find models and initiatives for applying population data to serve administrative reform

On the morning of December 27, in Buon Ma Thuot City, the Final Round of the Competition to find models and initiatives for applying population data to serve digital transformation and administrative reform in Dak Lak province took place. This is an important event, demonstrating the province's determination to exploit the potential of population data, promote digital transformation and realize administrative reform goals.

Colonel Tran Binh Hung, Deputy Director of Dak Lak Provincial Police, Deputy Head of the Organizing Committee of the contest, evaluated and summarized the contest.

After more than 1 month of launching, the Organizing Committee received 53 entries; including 31 collective entries and 22 individual entries. The entries are research and development of technological products such as software and hardware; or development and introduction of models and initiatives for creative and effective application of population data to serve digital transformation and administrative reform to apply and deploy in Dak Lak province.

Teams presented models and initiatives for creative and effective application of population data to serve digital transformation.

After the preliminary round, the Organizing Committee selected 12 high-quality, highly applicable entries for the final round. In the final round, in addition to presenting their entries, the contestants also answered questions directly from the Jury, and were evaluated based on 3 criteria: technical, usability, and presentation ability.

The Contest to find models and initiatives for applying population data to serve digital transformation and administrative reform in Dak Lak province, organized by the People's Committee of Dak Lak province, is one of the practical solutions and activities to improve professional qualifications, grasp knowledge of law, profession, master science and technology, create a forum for exchange and sharing of experiences, good practices, creative and effective models between units, localities and enterprises in the process of implementing Project 06 "Developing applications of population data, identification and electronic authentication to serve national digital transformation in the period 2022 - 2025, vision to 2030" in the province.

...and award prizes to models and initiatives that won high prizes in the final round.

At the end of the contest, the Organizing Committee awarded 2 first prizes, 4 second prizes, and 6 third prizes to participating individuals and groups.

In which, the First Prize for individuals went to contestant Le Dinh Do (Deputy Head of the Department of Administrative Management of Social Order, Provincial Police) with the initiative: "VNeID Blood Donation - Connecting to save lives through population data"; the First Prize for groups was awarded to the model "Firefighting support software" by the group of authors: Le Dinh Do, Dang Trong Minh, Nguyen Van Bo, Pham Quoc Viet, Pham Quoc Cuong, Nguyen Huu Nhan (Department of Administrative Management of Social Order, Provincial Police). On this occasion, the Provincial People's Committee awarded Certificates of Merit to the groups and individuals who won the First Prize of the contest.
