Pink Spring Festival Program in Ninh Binh City

On February 1, at the Provincial Youth and Children's Center, the Provincial Blood Donation Steering Committee coordinated with the Ninh Binh City Blood Donation Steering Committee to organize the "Pink Spring Festival" program to carry out the first voluntary blood donation in 2024.

With the message "Blood can wait for patients - patients cannot wait for blood", the volunteer event attracted more than 700 volunteers who are officials, civil servants, employees, and workers at agencies, units, businesses, and schools in Ninh Binh city. As a result, Viet Duc Friendship Hospital received nearly 700 units of blood.

In 2023, voluntary blood donation in Ninh Binh city achieved many outstanding results, medical units received 1,350 units of blood, exceeding the assigned target. This precious blood source was promptly supplemented to the blood reserves of medical facilities in the province and some central hospitals, meeting the needs of treatment and emergency, bringing life to patients.

Awarding certificates of merit from the Provincial Steering Committee for Voluntary Blood Donation to groups and individuals with achievements in implementing the blood donation movement.

At the "Pink Spring Festival" program, collectives and individuals with many contributions to the voluntary blood donation movement in 2023 were commended by the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union and the Provincial Steering Committee for Humanitarian Blood Donation.
