Reward for team spirit
The 2025 - 2026 V-League season sees CA TP.HCM Club return to top Vietnamese football after a 13-year absence.
Before taking over the team, Coach Le Huynh Duc had some hesitation. When the teams had finished their physical training and gone on tour to hone their skills, Mr. Duc still did not know which players would arrive at Thong Nhat Stadium.
The limited preparation time was the main reason why Truong Tuoi Dong Nai Club did not dare to accept the ticket to V-League early after Quang Nam Club withdrew. But Mr. Duc - the one-time symbol of the brand of CA TP.HCM Club - bravely "jumped into the fire" because of his love and responsibility for this shirt.
Remember at the departure ceremony, the former striker of the Vietnamese team shared with the press: "Please don't ask us about our goals and targets this season because we will determine where to go and make every effort."

In a short time, Coach Le Huynh Duc has successfully created a team that is a mixture of the old players: Patrick Le Giang, Huy Toan, Hoang Phuc, Van Binh, Manh Cuong... with new players Tien Linh, Quang Hung, Gia Bao, Duc Phu, Van Toan, Duc Huy...
In particular, CA TP.HCM Club has just stabilized its domestic players and at the same time checked and searched for foreign players, to the point that in some cases they only had time to come to Vietnam a few days before being released to compete in the V-League.
Step by step, the playing style of CA TP.HCM Club, which was still shaky and unsteady due to lack of understanding, has gradually become smoother with each match. In particular, the connection between new and old players is gradually becoming clearer in the collective spirit that Mr. Duc set out from the beginning.
There are many challenges, but there is faith.

At this point, CA TP.HCM Club has 10 points to catch up with the top team Ninh Binh FC (will play against Nam Dinh Club at 6pm today, September 22), a result that many city fans dare not dream of when looking at the hasty preparation at the beginning of the season.
The achievement of 3 wins against former champions Hanoi FC, HAGL, Becamex TP.HCM and 1 draw against reigning champion Nam Dinh and only losing to former champion The Cong Viettel is a very remarkable result.

The playing style of CA TP.HCM Club has not exploded with 6 goals scored and 5 goals conceded, but the important thing is that they know how to stand up after the 0-3 defeat against The Cong Viettel, tighten the squad to ensure solidity in operation and take advantage of every opportunity.
After the victory over Becamex TP.HCM to catch up with the top team Ninh Binh FC, Coach Le Huynh Duc was very calm: "Today, CA TP.HCM Club played with very good spirit, with the attitude of warriors. Some players played very enthusiastically, the solidarity helped them achieve victory.
Tien Linh and I returned to Go Dau Stadium, where we had once worked, but this is professional football. Wherever we are, we will give our all. Each match the team will try harder. In the first half, we scored 1 goal but did not play well, then we regained control of the game and played better. We still have a lot of work to do."
That humble alertness is very necessary for CA TP.HCM Club at this time, helping the players keep their feet firmly on the ground. They need to prepare well for the even greater challenges ahead to create a solid foundation for this year's season.
