The final match between Thanh Hoa FC and Viettel was dramatic. With their forte of attacking and high-pressure play, the home team Thanh Hoa entered the match with full fire after the opening whistle. On the other hand, Viettel applied a disciplined play style, waiting for their opponents to make mistakes to punish them.
The first chance came in the 19th minute. Hoang Duc opened the field for Duong Van Hao. However, the player wearing the number 39 shirt did not finish accurately.
