Dong Nai Provincial Police donated 1.6 billion VND to overcome the consequences of storm No. 3 in Nghe An.

(DN) - On August 2, a working delegation of Dong Nai Provincial Police led by Major General Nguyen Duc Hai, member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee and Director of the Provincial Police, visited and presented 1.6 billion VND to support people and families of officers and soldiers affected by storm No. 3 (storm Wipha) in Nghe An province.

Major General Nguyen Duc Hai sent his condolences and encouragement to the people, families of officers and soldiers affected by storm No. 3; at the same time, he hoped that the people of Nghe An province in general and the Nghe An Provincial Police in particular would soon overcome difficulties and gradually stabilize their lives and work.

Accordingly, the delegation donated 400 million VND to support the people of the Western region of Nghe An province, 100 million VND to support the people of My Ly commune (Nghe An province), 100 million VND to support the people of Nhon Mai commune (Nghe An province) and 1 billion VND to support officers and soldiers of Nghe An provincial police to overcome the damage caused by floods and storm No. 3.

Colonel Dinh Viet Dung, Director of Nghe An Provincial Police, said: Dong Nai Provincial Police is the first local police force in the entire provincial and municipal police force across the country to directly visit and give gifts to support the people of Nghe An province in general and Nghe An Provincial Police in particular. At the same time, we sincerely thank the Dong Nai Provincial Police for their attention, encouragement, support, and timely assistance, both materially and spiritually, in the face of difficulties and losses caused by the impact of storm No. 3 in the area.

Previously, Dong Nai Provincial Police organized a launching ceremony to support people and officers and soldiers who suffered losses due to floods and storm No. 3. As a result, officers and soldiers of Dong Nai Provincial Police raised 1.6 billion VND to support people and officers and soldiers of Nghe An Provincial Police.
