New look, new spirit to joyfully welcome the Party Congress

From the early days of August, the peak period of preparation for the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2nd until now, the central roads of the province seem to be wearing a new, brilliant coat. Party flags, national flags, along with colorful banners and slogans are hung solemnly, fluttering on the streets. The space from urban to rural areas seems to turn into a vivid picture, expressing the consensus, belief and excitement of the people before this important political event.

In Binh Phuoc ward, on Ly Thuong Kiet street, Phu Thanh quarter, an impressive highlight that has just been completed is a nearly 70m long decorative project with the theme "Red Flag and Yellow Star Space". This is the first time the locality has built a large-scale decorative route with a creative and attractive form of expression, creating a strong impression in the hearts of the people. The project was directly undertaken by the Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations of the ward from the idea, design to construction and decoration. With bright, vibrant colors and a harmonious layout, this space has quickly become a destination attracting a large number of people to visit, take photos, and record memorable moments in the exciting atmosphere of competition to welcome the congress.

Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, Secretary of the Binh Phuoc Ward Youth Union Pham Van Tien shared: “The purpose of the project is to welcome the Binh Phuoc Ward Party Congress, to welcome the Party Congresses at all levels. We not only want to create a project to welcome the congress but also hope that this place will be a spiritual destination, a place to spread national pride and patriotism in every citizen”.

Binh Phuoc Ward also has another unique highlight, which is the colorful mural project at the back gate of Tan Xuan Kindergarten, in Tan Tra neighborhood. Previously, this 60m long wall was just a row of old, faded brick walls, almost forgotten by time and road dust. But now, thanks to the talented hands and youthful energy of the youth union members, this place has become a lively and attractive outdoor art space. The harmoniously coordinated colors, meticulously hand-drawn images, from nature and trees, to children playing, from propaganda slogans to environmental protection messages, all show the neatness, creativity and enthusiasm of youth. Thanks to that, this place is not simply a newly renovated wall but has become a green and clean small park, where people can walk, children can play and young people can take pictures, check-in, and keep beautiful moments.

Mr. Phi Quang Hai, a member of the Binh Phuoc Ward Youth Union, who directly participated in the project, said: “These paintings have the meaning of protecting the green - clean - beautiful environment, and at the same time contributing to building a civilized urban area. This is how we express our patriotism and the vanguard spirit of the youth in welcoming the Party Congress.”

Similarly, in Binh Long ward, an old wall at the intersection of Pham Ngoc Thach - Nguyen Trai streets was also "renovated" by union members and youth with a series of vivid paintings. The project was carried out continuously for a week with the participation of nearly 20 young people from the painting and fine arts clubs of Binh Long High School for the Gifted. To meet the progress of handing over the project in response to the country's important events, the young people worked diligently from early morning to late afternoon. Some days, the clock hands pointed to 12 o'clock but they still had not put down their brushes. On the old gray wall, images of famous landscapes of the S-shaped country gradually appeared. A familiar Vietnam but told in the language of modern, emotional paintings.

Deputy Secretary of the Binh Long Ward Youth Union, Thi Tuyet Huong, said: “When implementing the project, the union members were all very excited. Despite the hot weather, everyone worked very seriously. This is not only an art work but also an emotional welcome to the Party Congress.”

Mr. Nguyen Gia Huy, one of the members participating in the painting, said: “In the past, this wall was very monotonous and few people paid attention. Now it is different, many people come to visit and take pictures. We are proud to have contributed a small part in creating a new image for the local street corner.”

The 1st Congress of the Dong Nai Provincial Party Committee, term 2025-2030, is an opportunity for the province to summarize its achievements and set out new directions and tasks. This is not only an important political event but also a place to place faith in a bright future. Many people expressed their belief that the congress will be a great success, opening a new and promising chapter for the local development.

In the central area of Dong Nai province, at Tran Hung Dao Secondary School (Tran Bien ward), in recent days, teachers and students here have expressed their excitement at the murals decorated on the old walls of the school. With the theme "The sky of any homeland is the sky of the Fatherland", this is a mural painting project to welcome the Tran Bien ward Party Congress, towards the Dong Nai province Party Congress, carried out by the Tran Bien ward Youth Union and the Dong Nai College of Decorative Arts Youth Union. The project is 7.2m wide and 4.9m high, completed in about half a month with the participation of 15 volunteers. The composition of the painting is simple but shows the continuity between generations and the pride in the studious spirit of Vietnamese people in the South through the image of the more than 300-year-old Tran Bien Temple of Literature.

Deputy Secretary of the Youth Union of Dong Nai College of Decorative Arts Vo Minh Hieu shared: "Through this project, we want to send a message, that is "any homeland sky is the Fatherland sky", to know that we are Vietnamese, we live together on the land of Vietnam, so anywhere is our homeland".

Faith and hope for the future

Not only artistic highlights, these days, communes and wards in Dong Nai province have become more brilliant than ever when a series of streets, parks, and agency headquarters are decorated with flags, banners, and welcome slogans. The red flags with yellow stars fluttering in the autumn wind, the congress propaganda slogans prominent on the central roads have turned the streets into a colorful picture, both solemn and bustling with enthusiasm. The decoration of Party flags, national flags, and propaganda slogans before, during, and after the congress has created a vibrant atmosphere, spreading widely to cadres, party members, and people.

Mr. Nguyen Van Huan, a resident of Binh Long ward, happily shared: “In recent days, the streets have become much more beautiful. Party flags and national flags are flying everywhere, making me feel very excited. I believe the congress will bring about many positive changes.”

Mr. Pham Ba Chau, over 77 years old and nearly 50 years of Party membership, residing in Bien Hoa ward, expressed: “I am very excited about this Provincial Party Congress, because this is the first congress after the province's merger. As a Party member and citizen in the province, I believe and expect that Dong Nai province will promote its strengths to develop more and more prosperously.”

Mr. Nguyen Ba Vu, a party member of Bien Hoa ward, excitedly said: "We are eagerly waiting and expecting that the Dong Nai Provincial Party Congress will have many decisions, creating many positive changes, contributing to changing the lives of people in the ward as well as the whole province in an upward direction."

Head of the Dong Nai Neighborhood Front Committee (Bien Hoa Ward) Luong Trong Nhan shared: “As a Front official, I hope that this congress will propose policies and strategies to continue economic development and create jobs for local people. At the same time, there will be new and creative ways of doing things, good models in the activities of the two-level local government to help people more conveniently when doing paperwork.”

Mr. Nguyen Van Thanh, a resident of Loc An commune, hopes: "I hope the congress will open up favorable policies for people and businesses. Only when a country develops will its people truly be prosperous and happy."

The trust and expectations of Dong Nai people are placed not only in the success of the congress but also in the cadres - those who have enough virtue, talent and enthusiasm to shoulder the responsibility in the new period.

Mr. Pham Ba Chau shared: “After the province merger, Dong Nai has a team of young and capable cadres. I believe that the cadres will unite and successfully complete all tasks assigned by the Party.”

Sharing the same thought, party member Bui Sy Cau, residing in Dak Lien hamlet, Dak Nhau commune, expressed his belief: "The comrades who are entrusted with responsibilities by the Party and the People need to fulfill their responsibilities with more enthusiasm to build the province to develop more and more."

Mr. Nguyen Van Dan, Head of Dak Lien village, Dak Nhau commune, hopes: "The Congress will elect qualified leaders with practical capacity to guide local people to follow the path chosen by the Party and the State. These days, I often remind villagers to clean their houses and streets, hang the national flag and take care of and trim the flower bushes in front of their houses to create a clean and beautiful landscape as well as a joyful and excited atmosphere to welcome this important event of the province."

Dong Nai streets today are not only beautiful in form but also beautiful in the hearts of the people, in the spirit of joining hands to build and the steadfast belief in the success of the Provincial Party Congress for the 2025-2030 term.

It can be seen that each construction, each wall, each decorated road is not only a mark of investment and responsibility but also a symbol of trust and aspiration. Aspiration for a brighter future under the leadership of the Party, especially when the country's political system has just come into operation under the 2-level local government model. The belief that today's efforts will be a solid foundation for tomorrow, where people live in civilization, prosperity and well-being.
