Announcing the leaders and key personnel of the new Khanh Hoa province

Together with the whole country, this morning (June 30), the Provincial Party Committee - People's Council - People's Committee - Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Khanh Hoa province held a ceremony to announce the Resolution and Decision of the Central and local governments on merging administrative units (ADUs) at the provincial and communal levels, ending the activities of district-level ADUs, establishing party organizations, appointing Party committees, People's Councils, People's Committees, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees of provinces, communes, wards, and special zones.

Attending the ceremony were Party Central Committee members: Nguyen Khac Dinh, Permanent Vice Chairman of the National Assembly; Nguyen Hong Linh, Deputy Head of the Central Inspection Committee; Nguyen Hai Ninh, Minister of Justice, former Secretary of Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee; Nghiem Xuan Thanh, Secretary of Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee; Nguyen Duc Thanh, Secretary of Ninh Thuan Provincial Party Committee.

Also attending the ceremony were representatives of leaders of Central Committees, ministries, branches and armed forces; leaders and former leaders of Khanh Hoa and Ninh Thuan provinces; Secretaries of affiliated Party Committees and Secretaries of Party Committees of communes, wards and special zones... The ceremony was broadcast live and online to commune and ward bridges in Khanh Hoa and Ninh Thuan provinces.

At the ceremony, Standing Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Nguyen Khac Dinh, Vice Chairman of the Central Inspection Committee Nguyen Hong Linh, and Minister of Justice Nguyen Hai Ninh presented the Central Resolutions and Decisions announcing the Central Resolutions and Decisions for the new Khanh Hoa province.

The new Khanh Hoa province was formed on the basis of merging the entire natural area and population of Khanh Hoa and Ninh Thuan provinces. After the reorganization, Khanh Hoa province has an area of ​​8,555.86 km², a population of more than 2.24 million people; has 65 commune-level units including 48 communes, 16 wards and Truong Sa special zone.

The new Khanh Hoa province will border Dak Lak, Lam Dong and the East Sea. The political and administrative center of the new Khanh Hoa province will be located in Nha Trang city of the current Khanh Hoa province.

According to the announced decisions, Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee was established on the basis of merging two provincial Party Committees: Khanh Hoa and Ninh Thuan. The Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee Executive Committee consists of 59 comrades, the Standing Committee consists of 17 comrades.

The Standing Committee of Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee includes: Comrade Nghiem Xuan Thanh, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term; Comrade Nguyen Khac Toan, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council for the 2021-2026 term; Comrade Nguyen Duc Thanh, member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Comrade Tran Quoc Nam, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee for the 2021-2026 term, Head of the 15th National Assembly Delegation of Khanh Hoa province; Comrade Pham Van Hau, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee; Comrade Ho Xuan Truong, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee.

On this occasion, the Standing Committee of Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee and Ninh Thuan Provincial Party Committee also presented flowers to 70 cadres under the management of the Central Committee and the Standing Committee of Khanh Hoa and Ninh Thuan Provincial Party Committees who will retire from July 1, 2025.
