Announcing preliminary benchmark scores for grade 10 high school admission for the 2025-2026 school year

Based on registration data, test scores of candidates, enrollment quotas and regulations on enrollment, the Department of Education and Training (DoET) of Quang Ninh announced preliminary benchmark scores and statistics on the number of admitted candidates of public high schools enrolling by entrance exam.

In particular, in the non-specialized system, the schools with the highest preliminary benchmark scores in the province are Hon Gai High School with 21.6 points; Cam Pha High School with 19.7 points; Ngo Quyen High School with 19.3 points; Uong Bi High School with 19.15 points; Bai Chay High School with 18.75 points; Hoang Quoc Viet High School with 18.7 points.

For the preliminary benchmark score to enter Ha Long Specialized High School, the highest is the English specialized class with 38.45 points.

To ensure the correct procedures, progress and benefits of candidates, the Department of Education and Training of Quang Ninh requires high schools with admission by examination method to publicly announce the preliminary admission scores for grade 10 of high school in the 2025-2026 school year, and organize the admission process in accordance with the instructions in Official Dispatch No. 610/SGDĐT-GDPT dated April 23, 2025 and Official Dispatch No. 934/SGDĐT-GDPT dated May 21, 2025 of the Department of Education and Training. During the implementation process, if any problems arise, the Department requests that units promptly contact and report to the Department through the General Education Department for guidance and handling.

The deadline for receiving appeal applications is 4 p.m. on June 17. The announcement of appeal scores and benchmark scores for public schools will be on June 22. Registration for admission for private schools will be from June 22 to July 25.
