According to the report, the province's industrial production index (IIP) in August 2025 increased by 1.62% compared to the previous month and increased by 12.85% over the same period in 2024. Notably, the processing and manufacturing industry recorded an increase of 15.78%, continuing to affirm its leading role in local industrial development.

In addition, the electricity, gas, hot water, steam and air conditioning production and distribution industry increased by 3.26%; the water supply, waste and wastewater management and treatment industry increased by 7.78%. The mining industry continued its downward trend, at 4.15% compared to the same period last year.

In the first 8 months of 2025, the cumulative industrial production index increased by 15.17% over the same period in 2024. In particular, the processing and manufacturing industry is still a bright spot with an increase of 15.78%. This is a sector that accounts for a large proportion in the industrial structure, closely linked to production and export activities and creates jobs for tens of thousands of workers.

After arranging and perfecting the two-level local government apparatus and implementing the provincial merger according to the Party and State's policy, Tay Ninh has formed a streamlined and effective administrative system, closely connected with the people and businesses. This is an important premise for the province to improve service quality, improve the investment environment, and promote socio -economic development.

The province's investment attraction continues to flourish, with many large projects being implemented, contributing to the formation of a new industrial landscape, especially in industrial parks, industrial clusters and the Moc Bai Border Gate Economic Zone. The whole province has more than 38,000 enterprises and 93,000 business households; in the first 9 months of 2025 alone, there were 2,600 new enterprises with nearly 16,000 billion VND in registered capital.

From the beginning of 2025 until now, the province's economy has continued to grow steadily: GRDP reached 9.63%, leading the Southern region; GRDP per capita is estimated at 118.6 million VND; export turnover reached 12.1 billion USD, import 9.27 billion USD. State budget revenue reached 36,839 billion VND, equal to 99% of the estimate assigned by the Central Government.

Contribute positively to economic growth

In fact, many processing and manufacturing enterprises in the area are operating effectively, constantly growing, affirming their brands and directly contributing to industrial growth. Typically, ABT Biomedical Solutions Co., Ltd., Long Hau branch (Long Hau Industrial Park, Can Giuoc commune), has produced about 30,000 test kits of all kinds up to now. This is a product with high technology content, not only meeting domestic demand but also expanding opportunities to participate in the global supply chain, demonstrating the new competitiveness of Tay Ninh industry.

Similarly, Anh Duong Machinery and Equipment Joint Stock Company (Ninh Thanh Ward) is a unit that produces hot and cold dryers for agricultural products, medicinal herbs and foods such as fruits, seeds, vegetables, tea, seafood, etc. Director of Anh Duong Machinery and Equipment Joint Stock Company - Vice Chairman of the Provincial Young Entrepreneurs Association Pham Trong Nghia said that since 2017, the unit has started building a factory of nearly ^2,000m2 in the old Bau Nang commune (now Ninh Thanh Ward) with modern equipment and machinery, a team of skilled engineers and mechanics to produce and manufacture dryers, affirming the brand in the market, creating jobs for local workers.

Tay Ninh (old) is a locality with many potentials and strengths in agricultural development, high-tech agriculture. After the merger, the new Tay Ninh is a bright spot in industrial and manufacturing development. According to Mr. Pham Trong Nghia, this is an opportunity to support the agricultural sector, one of the solutions to help farmers process fresh products into products of higher economic value without being dependent on the consumer market.

“When choosing this industry to develop, we saw a huge opportunity from Vietnam’s agricultural products. We produce a lot of agricultural products but are too dependent on the consumer market. The reason is that we do not have a long-term preservation mechanism so that agricultural products can maintain stable prices. Solving this problem is what we are aiming for,” Mr. Pham Trong Nghia informed.

With the advantage of Long An province (old) having a high Provincial Competitiveness Index (PCI), great strength in attracting investment, after the merger, Tay Ninh is assessed to have a lot of potential in attracting investment, along with the resonance of resources to develop and attract the business community.

Maintaining high growth momentum of industry, especially processing and manufacturing industry, shows that Tay Ninh is effectively exploiting the potential of industrialization. This is also an important basis for the province to realize the goal of rapid and sustainable economic development, while affirming its role as an industrial center in the Southern Key Economic Zone./.
