YEAC representative said that here they will support consulting, connecting and introducing workers and laborers in difficult circumstances to access subsidized or free wedding service packages.

By launching these three wedding service support points, we hope that the program will spread and connect with more units and businesses, so that we can together bring free or subsidized wedding service and product packages, and share happiness with disadvantaged workers.

Consulting, connecting and spreading

Mr. Tho Hoai Phong - Deputy Director of YEAC - said there are three groups of solutions at these support points. Along with support for workers to organize complete, solemn and economical wedding ceremonies, there will be specialized topics on marriage knowledge, giving away career transition courses, and livelihood support.

At the same time, we also connect agencies and businesses to support free or preferentially subsidize wedding service packages and products for disadvantaged workers such as makeup, wedding photography, costumes, and party organization. And finally, we hope to spread the collective wedding model locally.

At the launching ceremony of the wedding service support point for young workers in District 12, the first three couples to register were given wedding rings, and gifts were also given to 20 couples who had participated in the group wedding ceremony in previous years.

Director of YEAC Le Hoang Minh said that the launch of the wedding service support point for young workers is a great effort of the center. Through this, the center not only hopes that couples will build a happy married life but also wants to accompany them regularly and long-term so that many couples of workers and laborers in difficult circumstances will have a complete, civilized and economical wedding.

Preparing for a mass wedding in 2025

YEAC has announced the preparations for the 2025 mass wedding, welcoming the 50th anniversary of the liberation of the South and the reunification of the country (April 30). The common joy, accompanying the couples of workers in difficult circumstances, aiming to build and care for family life, happy marriage in harmony with the great joy of the nation scheduled to be held on April 27, 2025.

The 2025 mass wedding is for 100 couples who are officials, employees, teachers, demobilized soldiers, workers, and laborers with difficult circumstances working in Ho Chi Minh City and some neighboring provinces. To participate in this event, couples must have a marriage certificate and have never held a wedding.

After coming to learn at the wedding service support point in District 12, Mr. and Mrs. Nguyen Van Ut (43 years old) - Nguyen Thi Ngoc Lan (38 years old) decided to register to participate in the 2025 mass wedding. Both are wood industry workers, have been in love for three years but due to difficult circumstances, they have not been able to hold a wedding ceremony.

Ut no longer has parents, Lan confided that she also wanted to get married for a long time but had no money. "When the landlord announced this event, we discussed registering so that we could have a complete and happy wedding because we wouldn't be able to organize it ourselves" - Lan said.

YEAC Deputy Director Tho Hoai Phong said that the mass weddings in recent years have helped many workers, especially those in difficult circumstances who do not have the means to organize a formal wedding with full rituals.

"The mass wedding ceremony not only has a humane meaning in helping many disadvantaged couples have a perfect happy day, but also contributes to honoring the beauty of traditional national culture, promoting civilized and economical wedding organization, demonstrating the spirit of mutual love and affection, which is a very generous characteristic of the people of Ho Chi Minh City" - Mr. Phong said.

Join hands to share happiness

There will be a number of activities within the framework of the 2025 collective wedding ceremony. The "We are happy" project spreads the message of love, introducing typical couples who strive to improve in life. The Couple Run 2025 kicks off and raises funds to organize the 2025 collective wedding ceremony. The "Thousands of happy wishes" activity connects 5,000 wishes sent to worker couples.

Along with that, the workshop "Lasting Happiness" meets multi-generational couples, especially veteran couples who participated in the Ho Chi Minh campaign, along with topics to support health counseling, psychology of married life, and maintaining a complete marriage.

The program "Journey of Happiness" with social activities after the wedding ceremony for couples to share and give love to many other situations such as giving dream rooms, friendship houses, digital learning corners to children of disadvantaged young workers.
