Strengthening trust, enhancing cooperation Vietnam

At the invitation of the Government of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and the Government of the Republic of Turkey, this morning (November 28), Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and his wife, along with a high-ranking Vietnamese delegation, left Noi Bai Airport ( Hanoi ) to attend the 28th Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP 28), conduct a number of bilateral activities in the UAE and pay an official visit to Turkey from November 29 to December 3.

2023 marks the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and the UAE. The working trip to attend COP 28 and conduct a number of bilateral activities in the UAE is of great significance, both affirming Vietnam 's consistent policy on green growth and climate change response; and demonstrating Vietnam 's role and position in regional and international cooperation frameworks. At the same time, it strengthens political trust and enhances the effectiveness of cooperation between Vietnam and the UAE.

In 2023, Vietnam and Turkey will celebrate the 45th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations. The two countries have good friendship and cooperation in many fields such as politics, economics, trade, education, culture, and share many similarities in history, culture and development.
