Visit Ca Mau at the end of September to experience the famous destination in the southernmost region of the country.

(Dan Tri) - Tourists will experience a journey to famous destinations from Ca Mau Cape to listen to Southern folk music, visit the house of a young master of Bac Lieu, and visit a coastal wind farm.

Ca Mau province will organize a series of special tourism activities from September 26 to 30, in response to World Tourism Day (September 27). With the theme "Ca Mau - the southernmost point of the country, where nature and peace converge", the event promises to bring unique experiences to visitors.

The information was announced by the People's Committee of Ca Mau province at the press conference on the afternoon of September 24. The series of events includes 5 main activities, notably the journey to explore famous destinations from Ca Mau Cape to cultural and historical relics such as Ca Mau Cape Tourist Area, Southern amateur music and musician Cao Van Lau Memorial Area, Bac Lieu Prince's House Area, Hoa Binh 1 Wind Power Area and Xiem Can Pagoda Area.

The highlight of the series of activities is the festival "Quintessence of Ca Mau culinary culture", taking place at Hung Vuong square (Bac Lieu ward) with a scale of about 100 booths.

The festival will feature culinary spaces from Ca Mau and Ho Chi Minh City, displaying local OCOP products, along with culinary performances and experiences.

Mr. Ly Vy Trieu Duong, Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Ca Mau province, shared: "The province has invited famous chefs to perform dishes from local specialties such as shrimp, crab...".

According to Mr. Duong, the theme of this World Tourism Day aims to affirm Ca Mau's unique advantages when combining key areas: aquaculture (shrimp, crab), energy (wind power, gas), agriculture (rice, salt) and tourism (ecology, culture).

According to Mr. Duong, this is a "green, energetic, and powerful" development strategy, aiming for rapid and sustainable growth, enhancing the value of tourism experiences, and promoting the image of Ca Mau to domestic and international friends.

Mr. Ngo Vu Thang, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Ca Mau province, emphasized that tourism (spiritual, cultural, ecological) is one of the province's great advantages. Provincial leaders hope for the cooperation of agencies and units to create attraction, spread the image, contribute to the sustainable development of Ca Mau tourism, and become an attractive destination.
