Provincial People's Council delegates meet voters of Ba Thuoc district

On the morning of June 7, delegates of the Provincial People's Council including: Nguyen Tuan Tuong, Deputy Head of the Culture - Social Committee of the Provincial People's Council; Pham Khanh Huyen, farm owner in Chum village, Thiet Ong commune, Ba Thuoc district had a meeting with voters of Ba Thuoc district before the 20th session of the 18th Provincial People's Council, term 2021-2026.

At the meeting, the representative of the Provincial People's Council Delegation announced the expected content and program of the 20th session of the 18th Provincial People's Council; reported a summary of the socio -economic situation, national defense and security of the province in the first 5 months of the year, solutions to implement key tasks in the last months of 2024; reported the results of handling voters' petitions sent to the sessions of the Provincial People's Council.

Delegate Pham Khanh Huyen announced the expected content and program of the 20th Session of the 18th Provincial People's Council.

Voters of Ba Thuoc district expressed excitement at the socio-economic development of the province in the first months of 2024; at the same time, reflected issues of concern to the people.

Voters of Dien Thuong commune requested Song Chu One Member Co., Ltd. to soon have a plan to build two new canals East and West of Mai Dien dam to ensure enough water for irrigation.

Voters of Dien Thuong commune made recommendations at the meeting.

Request for funding support to build Thiet Giang bridge across Ma river from National Highway 217 to Thiet Giang village, Thiet Ong commune to eliminate ferry. Currently, more than 30 students have to go to school every day on this ferry with high risk of traffic safety.

Voters of Dien Quang commune made recommendations at the meeting.

Voters of Dien Quang commune proposed to invest in building 9 cultural houses for the villages. Pay attention to and implement policies and regimes for non-professional cadres at the commune and village levels. Have policies to add positions for party committee offices to ensure the operation of the commune party committee; continue to pay attention to supporting capital sources according to resolution 184 so that the commune has conditions to harden rural roads.

Voters of Ha Trung commune made recommendations at the meeting.

Voters of Ha Trung commune proposed to expand the culvert on provincial road 523B at km 11; voters of Luong Trung commune proposed to support funding for the construction of Mot Doi bridge connecting provincial road 523B from Luong Trung commune to Cam Thanh commune (Cam Thuy) to eliminate ferries...

After listening to the opinions and recommendations of the voters, delegate Nguyen Tuan Tuong accepted and explained the issues within his authority. The delegation accepted, synthesized and reported other suggestions and recommendations of the voters to the Provincial People's Council for consideration and resolution.
