Dak Lak: Training on professional skills in religious and belief work

On the morning of September 11, at Ban Me Trade Union Hotel (Tan An ward), the Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religions held a conference to train and foster professional skills in religious and belief work in 2025.

The training was attended by more than 100 delegates who are officials and civil servants working in the field of beliefs and religions of the Party Committee, People's Committee, Fatherland Front Committee and police of communes and wards in the province.

Deputy Director of the Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religions Le Thi Thanh Bich spoke at the training conference.

During the two days (September 11 and 12), the delegates were informed by the leaders of the Government Committee for Religious Affairs, the Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religions, and the Provincial Police about the following topics: Dissemination and implementation of the Law on Belief and Religion and Decree No. 95/2023/ND-CP dated December 29, 2023 of the Government detailing a number of articles and measures to implement the Law on Belief and Religion and other legal documents related to state management of beliefs and religions; training in skills, expertise, and in-depth knowledge of work on Protestantism; the Party's viewpoints, guidelines, and policies, the State's policies and laws on beliefs and religions; security situation in religions and the fight against activities that take advantage of beliefs and religions to violate the law.

Delegates listened to the leader of the Government Committee for Religious Affairs deliver a presentation on the topic at the training conference.

Through the training course, knowledge is fostered, professional skills are improved; fully updated with the Party and State's policies and laws on beliefs and religions. Thereby, helping cadres and civil servants working in the field of beliefs and religions meet the requirements of improving the quality and responsibility of consulting and resolving issues related to beliefs and religions in the province in a timely and effective manner.

It is known that during this period, the Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religions organized 3 training conferences (2 conferences in Tan An ward and 1 conference in Tuy Hoa ward).
