Dak Lak is the first province to complete the establishment of a steering committee to implement social insurance policies.

According to information from the provincial Social Insurance (SI), Dak Lak province has completed the establishment of a steering committee to implement social insurance, health insurance (HI), and unemployment insurance (UI) policies at both the provincial and commune levels.

Accordingly, Dak Lak is the first locality in the country to have completed 100% of the task of establishing a steering committee, including a provincial steering committee and 102 commune and ward steering committees .

The prompt establishment of a steering committee to implement social insurance, health insurance and unemployment insurance policies at the local level right after the merger is considered a very important and necessary step, creating a premise to ensure that policies are effectively implemented in the new period, contributing to the sustainable development of the locality.

The Steering Committee for the implementation of social insurance, health insurance and unemployment insurance policies in Dak Lak province (hereinafter referred to as the Steering Committee) is headed by Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Ta Anh Tuan as Head of the Committee; Permanent Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Committee Ho Thi Nguyen Thao as Permanent Deputy Head of the Committee; Director of Dak Lak Social Insurance Tran Manh Toan and two Deputy Directors of the Department of Health and the Department of Home Affairs as Deputy Heads of the Committee and 16 members from relevant departments, branches and units.

The Steering Committee is responsible for developing and assigning targets for the development of social insurance, health insurance and unemployment insurance participants to include in the annual socio -economic development targets of each level. At the same time, it is necessary to strengthen the dissemination and education of laws on social insurance, health insurance and unemployment insurance; innovate the content and methods of communication on mass media so that cadres, party members and people clearly understand the necessity, role, benefits and significance of the policy; create consensus and unity in the implementation organization...

In addition, the Steering Committee also directed relevant agencies and units to organize inspections and checks at units and enterprises in the area that owe social insurance, health insurance, and unemployment insurance premiums; units that show signs of evading social insurance, health insurance, and unemployment insurance premiums for employees based on data from tax authorities, business registration agencies, and state labor management agencies to overcome the situation of late payment, evasion, and debt.

The Steering Committee will also be responsible for developing and exploiting solutions to prevent and combat abuse when making records for enjoying social insurance, unemployment insurance, medical examination and treatment for health insurance... in order to strictly implement the provisions of the law, ensuring the rights of participants in social insurance, unemployment insurance, and health insurance.
