An Phu lotus pond is in its most beautiful season of the year.

Summer in Hanoi brings golden sunshine to every street and road. Trees cast cool green shade after a spring of budding and blooming. Flowers also fill the streets, from the delicate trumpet lilies of April to the purple of Lagerstroemia in May. And when June comes, the thousand-year-old capital is also covered with the simple yet special fragrance of lotus flowers.
