What's strange about Japanese standard beauty care training?

(NLDO) - With the new training program, beauty care students have an additional 180 hours of study with businesses at school and 120 hours of practice in Japan.

At the signing ceremony of the Strategic Cooperation Agreement between Van Lang Saigon College (An Nhon Ward, Ho Chi Minh City) and the Japan Comprehensive Aesthetics Association and Japanese enterprises on September 25, Japanese experts commented that Vietnamese students have the strength to develop the beauty care industry according to international standards.

Mr. Imai Masato - Member of the Japanese House of Representatives, Constitutional Democratic Party of Japan - said that with 640,000 international students and workers, Vietnam is the second country (after China) with the largest population in Japan.

Mr. Imai Masato - Member of the House of Representatives of Japan, Constitutional Democratic Party of Japan - highly appreciated the spirit of hard work and skills of Vietnamese students.

In addition to being famous for its technology and manufacturing industries, Japan also thrives in the service and beauty care industries.

"Vietnamese people are hard-working, have a high sense of responsibility, and are gentle. In terms of expertise, if properly trained, their skills are even better than local workers," commented Mr. Imai Masato.

Mr. Cao Thanh Binh - Head of the Culture - Society Committee, Ho Chi Minh City People's Council - said that Vietnam in general and Ho Chi Minh City in particular always create all conditions for the two countries to cooperate and develop, especially in the field of education.

"I hope that in the near future, the beauty and aesthetics industry in Vietnam will have the opportunity to become a million-dollar industry. At the same time, this is also an opportunity to improve the quality of human resources and deepen the Vietnam-Japan friendship," Mr. Binh emphasized.

The beauty care industry also attracts many men interested in learning.

Besides, Mr. Binh also hopes that Vietnam and Japan will have more cooperation in development in the artificial intelligence industry and other fields that Ho Chi Minh City "orders" at colleges and universities.

Mr. Truong Van Hung, Principal of Van Lang College Saigon, said that nursing is one of the key training majors at the school. The school is also one of the pioneers in providing systematic training and standardizing degrees.

Van Lang Saigon College is a pioneer in training in Japanese-standard beauty care in Ho Chi Minh City.

"In parallel with professional training, the school enhances language training, helping students have more opportunities for international development. Among them, Japanese is chosen by many students, this is also a country with a strongly developed beauty industry" - Mr. Hung shared.

In the new school year, Van Lang Saigon College will organize teaching and training in beauty care in Vietnam, so that students have a foundation of knowledge, skills and professional style, meeting the strict standards of the Japanese beauty industry.

The Japan Comprehensive Aesthetics Association and Good Style Company will jointly participate in quality assessment, organize examinations, and issue certificates for Beauty Care profession according to Japanese standards and also internationally recognized.

PGT Holdings is the unit that guarantees internship and employment opportunities for all students who are trained to the standards at Van Lang Saigon. Mr. Kakazu Shogo, General Director of PGT Holdings Joint Stock Company, said that the company will contribute 300 hours to the school's training program. Of which, 180 hours are in the classroom and 120 hours are for internship in Japan. The entry requirement for students interning in Japan is a Japanese language proficiency certificate of N3 or higher.
