Investing 69 billion VND in the Northern Mountainous Region General Hospital of Quang Nam

DNO - On September 3, the Chairman of the People's Committee of Da Nang City issued Decision No. 1304/QD-UBND approving the project of the Northern Mountainous Region General Hospital of Quang Nam.

According to the decision, the Northern Mountainous Region General Hospital of Quang Nam will be allocated 69 billion VND to invest in interior items and modern operating room equipment at the Department of Anesthesia and Resuscitation; Department of Urology - Digestion - Oriental Medicine, contributing to improving the quality of medical examination and treatment, meeting the requirements for people's health care.

Specifically, investing in operating room interior equipment on the 5th floor; clean air system for operating room block and clean corridor such as: positive pressure clean air system including air treatment AHU, heating resistor, air distribution system and filter. In addition, the project also invests in central medical gas system, medical equipment. Project implementation period is 2022 - 2025.

Quang Nam Northern Mountainous General Hospital (located in Dai Loc commune) provides medical examination and treatment for people in the districts of Dai Loc, Dong Giang, Nam Giang, Tay Giang, and Que Son.

The number of inpatients fluctuates between 1,100 and 1,300 people; during epidemics such as dengue fever and flu, it can exceed 1,700 patients/day. The average outpatient visit volume is 800 to 900 patients/day; at peak times, it can reach up to 1,200 patient visits/day.
