During the past term, the Farmers' Association of My Thuong Ward (merged from Phu Thuong Ward and two communes of Phu An and Phu My) always followed the direction of the Party Committee and the Association at higher levels to carry out propaganda and mobilization work for farmer members. The form of propaganda was regularly innovated, rich and effective, directly through meetings, activities and electronic information pages, social networking platforms, creating convenience and quickly disseminating policies, strategies and campaigns to farmer members.

Every year, the Ward People's Council has more than 1,330 members registering for the title of excellent production and business (SXKDG) at all levels. As a result, the locality currently has 1 member achieving the title of Excellent Production and Business at the Central level, 4 members achieving Excellent Production and Business at the city level... In 2024, the ward has built 2 3-star OCOP products for Chuon village sour shrimp paste and Chuon village sticky rice cake, helping the products reach the market, contributing to increasing income and creating more jobs for farmers.

Along with that, the Association has coordinated with related sectors to organize vocational training courses on Civil Electrical Engineering for dozens of farmer members; opened many training courses on science and technology in agricultural production, techniques for planting and caring for ornamental plants, garden renovation, potted chrysanthemum growing... with many members participating; established 2 more aquaculture professional groups, 1 bonsai cooperative group operating effectively. In particular, helping farmer members access capital from the Farmer Support Fund with 6 projects, totaling nearly 1.3 billion VND. Currently, the Association manages 17 savings and loan groups from the Social Policy Bank, with outstanding debt to date of more than 123 billion VND.

During the past term, the work of developing new members has always been focused on both quantity and quality. From 2023 to 2025, 206 more members were admitted (achieving 100% of the target set by the Congress Resolution), bringing the total number of members to 1,978, operating in 20 affiliated branches.

The Congress determined the goal in the new term to focus on promoting patriotic emulation movements among farmers, successfully implementing the three core tasks of the Association. Coordinate with departments from wards to residential groups to creatively apply the proposed plans and action programs suitable to local realities. Mobilize farmers to develop production and business in association with restructuring the agricultural sector.

In particular, there are main targets such as striving to have 50% or more of registered households achieve the title of Excellent Production and Business at all levels every year; providing training to improve the qualifications and skills of 170 excellent farmers and Excellent Production and Business farmers at the grassroots level; supporting the establishment of 2 new cooperatives in the agricultural sector and helping 2 farming households escape poverty sustainably each year...

The Congress announced the decision to appoint 29 Executive Committee members and 5 Standing Committee members of the People's Council of My Thuong ward, term I, 2025 - 2030.
