Dong Nai is considered a province that protects natural forests quite well. This creates favorable conditions for the province to preserve and develop forest ecotourism . In the current 4.0 era, forest management, protection, and promotion of tourism potential require different changes than before. Many modern technologies have been and are being applied, contributing to improving the efficiency of management, tourism promotion, and serving visitors. Recorded at Bu Gia Map National Park.

Comprehensive, fast and precise control

With more than 25 thousand hectares of forest, Bu Gia Map National Park owns a diverse forest ecosystem, the largest in the Southern region and is a place to store and preserve many species of animals and plants with rare genetic resources. More than ever, the management, protection and promotion of forest resources are always put first. The application of information technology in this work in Bu Gia Map National Park has brought about remarkable results. Unmanned aerial vehicles equipped with sensors and GPS systems allow continuous collection of data on forests, helping to analyze and make effective forest management decisions. In particular, through unmanned aerial vehicles, Bu Gia Map National Park Management Board can collect data on forest height and diversity, move to locations that are difficult for humans to access, thereby determining forest conditions and detecting forest fires.

The forests are always green, the forest vegetation is diverse. Not only does it help reduce pressure on the rangers and the contracting community, technology also helps the Park Management Board effectively manage the entire forest area, especially the border area, patrolling, controlling and protecting the forest and promoting tourism potential.

More than 400 QR codes have been attached to forest trees.

As a primeval forest with biodiversity, many types of terrain, streams, waterfalls and beautiful natural scenery, Bu Gia Map National Park is always an indispensable choice for domestic and foreign tourists when coming to Dong Nai . According to the Park Management Board, technology has contributed effectively to the management and development of tourism here. Up to now, more than 400 QR codes have been attached to ancient tree trunks and forest trees in the administrative service area of the park. From here, visitors can freely play and learn about the species and value of each forest tree without the need for a guide or interpreter.

In addition, with high resolution, digital camera traps have been widely used by staff of Bu Gia Map National Park in conservation research and tourism development. Digital camera traps clearly record the activities of animals at night or with species sensitive to human presence. Thanks to digital camera traps, researchers have recorded images of some endangered, rare and valuable animals of high conservation value to serve scientific research, conservation and serve visitors.
