The benchmark score based on the results of the separate exam of Banking University of Ho Chi Minh City ranges from 15 to 17.45.
On the afternoon of June 22, Banking University of Ho Chi Minh City announced the admission benchmark scores for two methods: Based on the results of the school's own exam; Summary of high school transcript scores and achievements.
For the first time, the school organized a separate entrance exam for admission, with the standard score for each major ranging from 15 to 17.45, on a 30-point scale. The highest standard score was for Finance - Banking, and the lowest was for English Language and Economic Law.
The school representative said it was impossible to compare the scores of the separate exam with the high school graduation exam or evaluate the capacity of other schools because the content and format of the exam were different.

From April to the end of May, Ho Chi Minh City Banking University organized 6 competency assessment tests for the following subjects: Math, Physics, Chemistry, English, History, Geography. Of which, Math alone has a 90-minute test time, the remaining subjects have 60 minutes, in the form of multiple choice.
The test has 3 types of questions: true/false multiple choice, matching test, short answer test. Each test has 25 multiple choice questions. Of which, the true/false multiple choice question type has 15 questions, the matching test type and short answer type each have 5 questions.
Candidates can choose to take three or more subjects to get admission scores according to the corresponding combination of majors.
With the comprehensive method, the school takes the admission score of 106/150, applied to all high-quality and international dual-degree programs. In this method, the school considers the converted score of many criteria including academic records, foreign language certificates, excellent student awards, specialized schools and other achievements.

This year, Banking University of Ho Chi Minh City recruits 3,636 students for the high-quality, standard, dual-degree program and 280 students for the degree-granting partnership program.
In addition to the results of the separate exam and the general admission, the school also considers admission by three other methods, including: Direct admission, priority admission according to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training ; considering high school graduation exam scores. For programs with degrees granted by international partners, the school considers admission by the results of academic records combined with interviews.
The estimated tuition fee for the standard program is 7.05 million VND, and for the high-quality program it is nearly 18 million VND per semester. For the dual degree program and international joint program with a partner university granting the degree, the tuition fee is about 212.5 million VND for the entire course including 8 semesters.
