"More than a degree, university heritage is also a way of life" is shared by former RMIT student - Le Tuan Anh, currently a training expert and career consultant. His job allows him to meet many young people who graduated with high scores, but are confused when facing a crossroads in life. He feels lucky because more than 10 years ago, the "cradle" RMIT showed him how to see the world, see himself, and make decisions for himself.

Tuan Anh pointed out 4 important things he learned at RMIT, which established the foundation for how he wants to live and define his career today. These are: Flexible learning pathways for each student to be independent and responsible for their choices; Open teaching methods without standard answers to foster lifelong learning attitudes; Multicultural environment and student exchange network with more than 200 international partner schools to create a global mindset - suitable for the local; and Value system that respects all personal identities to self-define success and design a career.

For Ms. Duong Thu Giang, Nguyen Giang Ngan's parent, RMIT is also a bridge for mother and daughter to have the opportunity to understand each other better, not to let anyone change the other, but to work together to write small "legacies" for the family. Ms. Giang said that, as a journalist with more than 30 years of experience, she is the one who inspires her daughter's career, but still learns a lot of new knowledge and experiences from her daughter.

At RMIT, the journey of student growth does not only take place in the classroom. Behind every step forward, every time students confidently step out into the world, is the silent companionship of the staff - people who are not called lecturers, but play an indispensable role in creating a comprehensive learning environment.

From student life activities, skill development programs, mentoring, coaching for international competitions, to connecting with a network of more than 2,000 businesses, they are the ones who create conditions for students to develop their thinking, skills and life skills. Even though they do not appear on the podium, they are always there when students need them, quietly cultivating each seed of potential.

For Ms. Nguyen Thi Phuong Linh, Student Activities Manager, who has been with students for many years through community development activities, what she cherishes most is witnessing their transformation: from shy new students, standing in front of a crowd for the first time, to confident leaders, organizing professional events like a real agency in more than 60 student clubs in the school.

It is this presence – patient, dedicated – that has contributed to creating an educational environment where students learn not just to work, but to live a meaningful life. It is a quiet, but lasting legacy written every day by the people at RMIT.

That legacy will continue to be written in the years to come to realize the mission of preparing many generations of Vietnamese students to always be ready to confidently welcome the future.
