Taking the ancient train in Da Lat, visitors can drink tea and watch free musical performances.

Saigon Railway Transport Branch said that from April 17, two pairs of ancient Da Lat trains DL3/DL4 and DL11/DL12 will run regularly every day to serve tourists visiting the cog railway route from Da Lat station to Trai Mat.

The railway runs two pairs of ancient Dalat trains with many free services: Tea, wifi, musical performances.

Accordingly, the DL3/DL4 train pair runs during the day, train DL3 departs from Da Lat station at 9:55, train DL4 departs from Trai Mat at 10:55.

Train pair DL11/DL12 runs in the evening, train DL11 departs from Da Lat station at 18:15, train DL12 departs from Trai Mat at 19:15.

In addition, depending on customer demand, the railway will run 4 pairs of daytime trains DL1/DL2, DL5/DL6, DL7/DL8, DL9/DL10; one pair of evening trains DL13/DL14.

Ticket prices range from 60,000-150,000 VND/passenger/trip. Tickets for trains DL1/DL2, DL5/DL6, DL7/DL8, DL9/DL10 include artichoke tea service and free wifi.

Double ticket for train DL3/DL4 includes free services: Artichoke tea, wifi and live violin/guitar performance on board.

Tickets for two evening trains DL11/DL12, DL13/DL14 include free services: Artichoke tea, wifi, violin/guitar/saxophone performance and a light meal.

The new railway opened the Da Lat evening train from April 14. When traveling on the evening train, passengers are served a free snack.

Special discounts when buying round-trip tickets and group tickets. Specifically, when buying in groups, groups of 15-29 people get a 15% discount on ticket prices; Groups of 30 people or more get a 20% discount on ticket prices.

When purchasing round-trip tickets, passengers purchasing individual tickets receive a 25% discount; Groups of 10-39 people receive a 30% discount; Groups of 40 or more receive a 40% discount.

For train pairs DL3/DL4, DL5/DL6, DL7/DL8, DL9/DL10, when purchasing tickets for 33 seats or more in the same carriage, the same price for VIP1 as for VIP2 seat type will apply.

Time and fee for changing or returning tickets 72 hours or more before train departure: No fee; 2 hours to less than 72 hours before train departure: Fee 10% of ticket price; Less than 2 hours before train departure: No changing or returning tickets.
