Although the benchmark scores for grade 10 were a "big surprise", many schools failed to meet their enrollment targets. The total number of students admitted in the above exam was 3,893. Meanwhile, the total enrollment target assigned by the Department of Education and Training to the 9 public schools mentioned above was 4,572. The number of students admitted was 679 less than the target.
Specifically, Krong Ana High School was assigned to recruit 484 students, but only recruited 292, missing 192 students; Phan Boi Chau High School (Krong Nang) was assigned to recruit 440 students but only recruited 261, missing 179 students; Nguyen Binh Khiem High School (Krong Pac) was assigned to recruit 480 students but only recruited 362, missing 118 students; Cu M'gar High School was assigned to recruit 616 students but only recruited 532, missing 84 students. Ngo Gia Tu High School (Ea Kar) was assigned to recruit 528 students but only recruited 461, missing 67 students.
