The fifth episode of Talent Rendezvous has the theme of Turning Point. Talent Rendezvous easily reminds the audience of a famous and very successful music competition in the past - Sao Mai Rendezvous, also organized by Vietnam Television. There, contestants must go through a rigorous selection process before performing nights that require flexible improvisation and rich variations according to each theme. This time, Talent Rendezvous has 1,000 contestants participating in the casting. Before entering the first live show and knockout round, the contestants had 4 thrilling competition nights.

In terms of expertise, Talent Rendezvous gathers contestants with both appearance and voice advantages, including a few factors that are familiar to the audience. Many contestants possess beautiful voices, maintain a stable performance but do not lack surprises and innovation. Although there are faces that stand out from the first competition night, but like the common ground of many music competition programs today, there are no "phenomena" enough to cause a "storm" in the media and maintain the heat. This is also the reality, when "hunting" for talent is always the biggest challenge.
