New developments in the case of a first grader being beaten by a teacher, leaving him bruised

Regarding the case of teacher VTT (homeroom teacher of class 1B, Ba Dinh Primary School, Bim Son Town, Thanh Hoa ) who beat and scratched TPN's ear during class, in recent days, many parents have continued to file complaints against this female teacher for beating many other students.

Ba Dinh Primary School (Bim Son Town, Thanh Hoa) currently has about 1,400 students and is the top school in terms of teaching achievements in Bim Son Town.

Speaking to Thanh Nien reporter, a female parent of class 1B at Ba Dinh Primary School said that at least 4 parents (in addition to TPN's parent) had submitted a petition to the police requesting verification and clarification of the case of female teacher VTT beating their child many times over many days.

This female parent also said that the teacher VTT had been reminded of the beating of the students by the parents (before submitting the complaint) and they ignored it because they thought the teacher was just trying to warn them, wanting their children to concentrate and study harder. However, the teacher still beat the students afterward, so they had to submit a complaint to the authorities to resolve the matter.

According to the reporter's investigation, in a clip from the camera in class 1B (teacher VTT's homeroom class) recorded in the afternoon of October 10, it shows that this female teacher not only hit TPN student's back and pinched his ear many times, but also hit another male student's head and pinched his ear. At that time, the class had more than 30 students.

Although parents have sent petitions and images from the school's camera recorded the scene of the female VTT teacher beating many students, when talking to reporters, Ms. Vo Dao Hoa, Principal of Ba Dinh Primary School, said she only knew that the VTT teacher beat the TPN student and did not know that many other students were beaten.

According to Ms. Hoa, the school is waiting for the conclusion of the police agency before disciplining teacher VTT. Currently, the school has stopped this female teacher from being the homeroom teacher of class 1B and not directly teaching.

Previously, as Thanh Nien reported, during the Thursday afternoon class (October 10), teacher VTT used her hand to hit TPN (a 1B student) on the back and pinched her ear many times.

On October 11, the parents took N. to school to report the incident and asked the school to clarify the teacher VTT's act of beating the student.

Teacher VTT also admitted to hitting student N. on the back and pinching his ear, causing bruising.

Notably, in the 2023-2024 school year, Ms. T. also beat a first-grade student. But that time, she was only warned, learned her lesson, and continued to be assigned to teach normally by the school.
