Heavy rain in the North, some places still 150mm

According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, from the evening of July 1-2, in the Northern region and Thanh Hoa, there will continue to be moderate rain, heavy rain and thunderstorms, locally very heavy rain with common rainfall of 30-60mm, locally over 150mm.

On the night of July 2, the Northwest region will still have moderate to heavy rain and thunderstorms, locally very heavy rain with common rainfall of 15-40mm, locally over 80mm. Warning of the risk of local heavy rain (>100mm/3h). From July 3, heavy rain in the North will gradually decrease.

In addition, on July 2, the Central and Southern regions will have showers and thunderstorms, locally heavy rain with rainfall of 10-30mm, locally over 60mm (rain concentrated in the afternoon and evening).

In Hanoi on July 2, there will be rain, moderate rain and thunderstorms, some places will have heavy rain with the highest temperature not exceeding 32 degrees.

The meteorological agency noted that areas in thunderstorms are likely to experience tornadoes, lightning, hail and strong gusts of wind. Localized heavy rains are likely to cause flash floods on small rivers and streams, landslides on steep slopes and flooding in low-lying areas.

Cloudy with scattered showers and thunderstorms, locally heavy rain. Light winds. Thunderstorms may produce tornadoes, lightning, hail and strong gusts of wind.

Lowest temperature: 24-27 degrees. Highest temperature: 30-33 degrees, some places above 33 degrees.

South Central Coast

Cloudy with scattered showers and thunderstorms, locally heavy rain. Southwest wind level 2-3. Thunderstorms may produce tornadoes, lightning, hail and strong gusts of wind.

Lowest temperature: 24-27 degrees. Highest temperature: 32-35 degrees, some places above 35 degrees.

Central Highlands

Cloudy with scattered showers and thunderstorms; moderate rain and thunderstorms in the afternoon and evening, with some areas experiencing heavy to very heavy rain. Southwesterly winds level 2-3. Thunderstorms are likely to produce tornadoes, lightning, hail, and strong gusts of wind.

Lowest temperature: 20-23 degrees. Highest temperature: 25-28 degrees, some places above 28 degrees.

Southern Vietnam

Cloudy with scattered showers and thunderstorms; scattered showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon and evening, with some heavy rain in some places. Southwest wind level 2-3. Thunderstorms may produce tornadoes, lightning, hail, and strong gusts of wind.
