(HQ Online) - On the afternoon of March 28, 2024, at the headquarters of the Ho Chi Minh City Customs Department, the General Department of Customs held a conference to announce the Decision to transfer and appoint Mr. Nguyen Hoang Tuan, Director of the Department of Organization and Personnel, to the position of Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Customs Department. Director General of the General Department of Customs Nguyen Van Can chaired the conference.

At the conference, Deputy Director of the Department of Organization and Personnel, General Department of Customs Pham Thi Thu Huong announced Decision No. 836/QD-TCHQ dated March 27, 2024 of the Director General of the General Department of Customs on the temporary transfer and appointment of Mr. Nguyen Hoang Tuan, Director of the Department of Organization and Personnel, to hold the position of Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Customs Department from April 2, 2024.
At the conference, Director General of the General Department of Customs Nguyen Van Can presented the decision on transfer and appointment to Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Customs Department Nguyen Hoang Tuan.
Congratulating the new Director Nguyen Hoang Tuan and the Ho Chi Minh City Customs Department on completing the Director position, General Director of the General Department of Customs Nguyen Van Can hopes that in his new position, Comrade Nguyen Hoang Tuan will soon get to work, together with key officials of the Ho Chi Minh City Customs Department to stabilize the situation, ensure investment attraction, import-export activities in the Ho Chi Minh City area; together with the collective leadership, the Party Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Customs Department will continue the tradition of the unit, promote the strengths, and unanimously overcome the limitations.

Receiving the direction of the General Department of Customs' leadership, the new Director Nguyen Hoang Tuan sent his thanks to the Party Committee of the Ministry of Finance , the General Department of Customs' leadership, the City Party Committee - People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City for trusting him in assigning and appointing him to the position of Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Customs Department.

According to the new Director Nguyen Hoang Tuan, this is an honor and also a new responsibility and task for him when holding the leadership position of the Ho Chi Minh City Customs Department, a large unit with a staff of about 20% of the entire industry, a large workload, and a diverse and complex nature of work.
Director Nguyen Hoang Tuan also promised to leaders at all levels that he will quickly grasp the work, always uphold the sense of responsibility, strive with the collective leadership, officers and civil servants of the Ho Chi Minh City Customs Department to complete well and excellently the assigned tasks.
