The Central Internal Affairs Commission delegation worked with the Provincial Party Standing Committee

On March 28, the Central Internal Affairs Commission delegation led by Comrade Phan Dinh Trac, Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Internal Affairs Commission, had a working session with the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee on the situation and results of internal affairs, anti-corruption and anti-negativity work (PCTN-TC) and judicial reform (CCTP) in 2023; and work tasks in 2024. Also attending were Comrade Nguyen Van Yen, Deputy Head of the Central Internal Affairs Commission; leaders of a number of departments and units under the Central Internal Affairs Commission.

Receiving and working with the delegation were comrades: Nguyen Duc Thanh, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Pham Van Hau, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Tran Quoc Nam, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; comrades in the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee; leaders of a number of departments and branches of the province.

At the working session, on behalf of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, the Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council reported and clarified a number of outstanding results in internal affairs, anti-corruption, and anti-corruption work in the province, which were implemented resolutely, synchronously, and in accordance with regulations; contributing to maintaining political security, order, and social safety, building a strong political system, and creating a favorable environment for local socio -economic development. The activities of the Steering Committee and the Standing Committee of the Provincial Anti-corruption Steering Committee maintained regular and ad hoc meetings according to regulations; promptly directed and urged the settlement of a number of cases and incidents under the supervision and direction of the Provincial Steering Committee. Assigned members of the Steering Committee to monitor areas and fields, organize inspections and supervision of anti-corruption work at a number of Party committees, agencies, units, and localities.

However, in addition to the achieved results, the situation of rural security, order and social safety still has potential factors causing complications. The activities of some types of crimes are still complicated, especially crimes of intentional injury, drug crimes, property theft, and crimes using high technology to defraud and appropriate property. State management of the fields of appraisal, valuation, auction... still faces many difficulties, inadequacies, and low efficiency; the team of judicial appraisers is both insufficient in quantity and not guaranteed in structure and quality.

At the working session, the Provincial Party Standing Committee recommended and proposed to the Head of the Central Internal Affairs Committee to continue to pay attention, consider, and give opinions to competent agencies to increase staffing and facilities for provincial internal affairs agencies; promptly complete legal policies on appraisal and valuation of assets in handling corruption, economic, and negative cases; there should be guidelines for the unified implementation of reporting regimes, outlines for guidelines on preparing periodic reports on anti-corruption work at the provincial level...

Speaking at the working session, comrade Phan Dinh Trac acknowledged that the Party committees and authorities at all levels of the province have paid attention to leading and directing the effective implementation of internal affairs, anti-corruption and anti-corruption work in 2023. Regarding the tasks in the coming time, the Head of the Central Internal Affairs Committee requested the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee to continue to pay attention to leading, directing, thoroughly grasping and strictly implementing the central directives, resolutions and conclusions on internal affairs, anti-corruption and anti-corruption work and ensuring security and order; directing the timely and effective handling of emerging issues related to ethnicity, religion, sabotage activities of hostile and reactionary forces... to avoid forming "hot spots", to avoid being passive and surprised. Continue to pay attention to effectively implementing Regulation No. 11-QDi/TW of the Politburo on the work of receiving people and having direct dialogue with people; Directive No. 35-CT/TW of the Politburo on citizen reception and complaint and denunciation settlement, especially focusing on directing the settlement of long-standing, crowded, and pending disputes and complaints in the province; resolving complaints and denunciations within the authority right at the grassroots level. Continue to pay attention to directing the further improvement of the quality of operations and the effectiveness of coordination between internal affairs agencies.

Strengthen state management, inspection, supervision, control of power, tighten discipline and order in areas prone to corruption and negativity; control power in judicial activities, prevent wrongful convictions. Focus on directing the removal of difficulties and obstacles, further speed up the investigation progress, and thoroughly handle corruption and negativity cases and incidents in the area, especially those related to corruption and negativity cases and incidents in the area, especially those related to personnel to prepare for the personnel of the Party congresses at all levels in the next term. Improve the effectiveness of the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee, advise the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee to concretize and effectively implement Regulation No. 137-QD/TW dated December 1, 2023 of the Secretariat on the functions, tasks, powers, and organization of specialized agencies advising and assisting the Provincial Party Committee and the City Party Committee directly under the Central Government; Closely coordinate with competent authorities to effectively perform assigned tasks and powers.

On behalf of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, the Provincial Party Secretary seriously accepted the direction of the Head of the Central Internal Affairs Committee. At the same time, he will continue to promote the spirit of solidarity within the entire Party Committee, continue to lead and direct the better implementation of local political tasks, contributing to maintaining political security, order and social safety, especially the work of anti-corruption and anti-corruption; building a truly clean and strong Party and political system.
