According to the planning for exploration, exploitation, processing and use of minerals in the period of 2021 - 2030, with a vision to 2050, the project is part of the province's bauxite exploitation plan. It is expected that the project will have an exploitation capacity of about 6 - 12 million tons of ore/year. The geological reserves of the entire mine are estimated to be about 497.6 million tons of raw ore, equivalent to more than 200.5 million tons of refined ore.
The inspection team inspected rice fields located in the project area in the hamlets: Nam Ngua, Nam Cop, Bai Tinh area of Thanh Long commune. The Tap Na Bauxite mining and mineral processing project is invested by Cao Giang Mineral Investment Company Limited. Accordingly, there are currently 9.7 hectares of rice fields of 18 households affected because they are located in the project's mining area.
Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Hoang Van Thach proposed: Department of Agriculture and Environment, adjust the project planning related to location, mining area; assess the impact of the project, adjust to avoid affecting the agricultural land area of the people; adjust the mining plan and plan according to the local reality, not to affect the environment, landscape, traffic infrastructure, especially not to disturb the lives of the people during mining. Compare the project implementation in accordance with the provisions of law and in accordance with the economic interests of the locality.
Next, the working delegation inspected the operations of Thanh Long Commune Public Administration Service Center.
Through inspection, it was found that the Commune Administrative Service Center is basically fully equipped with a computer system; civil servants are fully deployed to guide and receive administrative procedures, ensuring smooth and timely handling of administrative procedures to serve people and businesses coming to transact.
