VSIP Nghe An Industrial Park project was started on September 16, 2015 with a total area of ​​750 hectares. By the end of November 2023, VSIP Nghe An Industrial Park had attracted 42 investors (44 projects) with a land lease area of ​​238 hectares, on a total factory construction land area of ​​250.63 hectares, reaching an occupancy rate of 95%. Not only has the occupancy progress met the requirements, VSIP Nghe An Industrial Park is expected to attract more than 65,000 local workers when all factories come into operation.

Total investment capital in VSIP Nghe An reached 23,497.8 billion VND (equivalent to 1,012.8 million USD), including 24 foreign direct investment (FDI) projects from countries and territories such as: Japan, Korea, Singapore, China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Sweden... with total registered capital of 948.4 million USD.

During the visit and work at VSIP Nghe An, the delegation of Gyeonggi - Do Provincial Council was very impressed by the scale and development of this largest industrial park in Nghe An. Through the visit and work here, Mr. Mun Hyung Kun - Gyeonggi - Do Provincial Security and Administration Committee promised to promote the image and investment opportunities in VSIP Nghe An Industrial Park to businesses in Korea when returning home. Mr. Mun Hyung Kun hopes that in the coming time, more Korean businesses will come to Nghe An and especially will choose VSIP Nghe An as an ideal place to invest.

Also on the morning of January 17, the delegation visited the Vietnam - Korea Industrial Technical College.

The school is training in the following majors: Industrial electronics; mechatronics; industrial electricity; welding technology; electrical installation and control engineering in industry (automation electricity); refrigeration and air conditioning engineering (refrigeration); mechanical equipment system maintenance; automotive technology... Over the past 25 years of establishment, the school has provided long-term vocational training for over 20,000 students; over 25,000 students have received short-term technical and Korean language training; nearly 20,000 workers have received orientation education before going to Korea to work.

Tens of thousands of students have jobs after graduation; over 4,000 students work and study to improve their qualifications in Korea, Japan, and Taiwan. Many students of the school have won high prizes in ASEAN skills competitions, world skills competitions, youth creativity competitions, startup ideas competitions, etc.

Visiting and working here, Mr. Mun Hyung Kun and the delegation highly appreciated the school's human resource training capacity, and hoped that in the coming time, the school will continue to train more highly skilled students, thereby contributing to the overall development of Nghe An in particular and Vietnam in general. In addition, when returning to Korea, Mr. Mun Hyung Kun will introduce to businesses about the school - one of the leading human resource training places in Nghe An. Through this, it will create many job opportunities for students after graduation.

Previously, the delegation also visited Namyangju Dasan Road in Vinh City. The road was started in March 2016 and inaugurated in March 2017, with a length of 920m, marking the solidarity and friendship between Vinh City (Vietnam) and Namyangju (Korea).
