Celebrating the 80th anniversary of the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025) and looking forward to the 80th anniversary of the first general election to elect the National Assembly of Vietnam (January 6, 1946 - January 6, 2026). On the morning of August 28, the National Assembly Delegation of Gia Lai province led by Comrade Ly Tiet Hanh, Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Deputy Head of the National Assembly Delegation of the 15th term of Gia Lai province, visited the Tan Trao Special National Relic Site.

The delegation included comrade KSor Phuoc, former member of the Party Central Committee, former Chairman of the National Assembly's Ethnic Council; comrade Siu Huong, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Deputy Head of the Gia Lai Provincial National Assembly Delegation and other members of the delegation.

On the side of Tuyen Quang province, receiving the delegation and attending the program were comrades: Ly Thi Lan, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation; Ma Thi Thuy, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Deputy Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation.

The delegation offered incense at Lan Na Nua, where Uncle Ho lived and worked from late May to August 1945 to direct the preparation for the General Uprising to seize power in August 1945.

The delegation offered incense at Tan Trao Communal House, where on August 16-17, 1945, the National Congress met to approve 10 major policies of the Viet Minh, set the National Flag, National Anthem and elected the Vietnam National Liberation Committee, i.e. the Provisional Government with leader Ho Chi Minh as President... The Tan Trao National Congress had a decisive significance in deciding the fate of the nation, and was a very important preparation step for the first General Election of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam, on January 6, 1946.

At the Memorial Site of Revolutionary Ancestors, the delegation offered incense to commemorate and pay tribute to the revolutionary predecessors - the excellent students of President Ho Chi Minh, the steadfast and indomitable communist soldiers who fought all their lives for national independence, national reunification, and for the freedom and happiness of the people.

The delegation also offered incense in memory of President Ton Duc Thang at the National Assembly Standing Committee Relic Site, Dong Ma village - the residence and workplace of the National Assembly Standing Committee of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam from 1952 to 1954.

At historical sites, the delegation expressed their respect and infinite gratitude for the great contributions of President Ho Chi Minh, President Ton Duc Thang and revolutionary predecessors to the cause of national liberation. At the same time, they promised to always have faith in the Party's leadership, to follow the revolutionary path chosen by the Party and Uncle Ho; to constantly study and follow Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style; to uphold political determination, to strive to overcome all difficulties and challenges, to excellently complete the tasks assigned by the Party and the people; to continue to promote their intelligence and enthusiasm to contribute to the construction of the homeland and the country to become more and more developed.


* On the afternoon of August 28, the National Assembly delegation of Lam Dong province led by Mr. Dang Hong Sy, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, National Assembly member of the XVth term of Lam Dong province; the National Assembly delegation of Dong Thap province led by Mr. Ta Minh Tam, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Deputy Head of the National Assembly delegation of the XVth term of Dong Thap province; and the National Assembly delegation of Ca Mau province led by Mr. Nguyen Quoc Han, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Deputy Head of the National Assembly delegation of the XVth term of Ca Mau province, visited the Tan Trao National Special Relic Site.

On the same day, the delegation offered incense at President Ho Chi Minh Temple, in Nguyen Tat Thanh Square (Minh Xuan ward).

On this occasion, the delegation of National Assembly deputies of Lam Dong province donated 300 million VND to the Fund for Eliminating Temporary and Dilapidated Houses of Tuyen Quang province; the delegation of National Assembly deputies of Ca Mau province donated 125 million VND to the Fund for Gratitude of Tuyen Quang province.

Comrade Ma The Hong, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee received the symbol of support for eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses in the area from the National Assembly Delegation of the 15th term of Lam Dong province.
The delegation of the 15th National Assembly of Ca Mau province donated to the Gratitude Fund of Tuyen Quang province.
