More than 3,000 teachers were trained to compile 10th grade entrance exams and excellent student exams.

On September 27 and 28, the Department of Education and Training held a training conference on compiling 10th grade entrance exam questions and exams to select excellent students at secondary and high schools for key staff and teachers of secondary and high schools in the province.

The training is aimed at standardizing testing and evaluation work, aiming at improving the quality of comprehensive education . The training conference was organized according to Plan No. 29/KH-SGDĐT, dated September 17, 2025 of the Department of Education and Training with the participation of more than 3,000 key staff and teachers of 9 basic subjects. The staff and teachers were trained to improve their skills in creating test questions in the direction of capacity development; building test matrices and designing test questions in the direction of developing students' qualities and capacities. The topics have focused on how to build questions and exercises with high applicability, helping to properly assess students' ability to apply knowledge and creative thinking instead of just stopping at memorization tests. The training session emphasized the requirements for scientificity, objectivity and fairness in each exam, especially ensuring reasonable differentiation to accurately select students with outstanding abilities, meeting the requirements of the entrance exam and the excellent student exam. Thereby, helping to properly assess the quality of teaching and learning, promoting students to study more seriously, proactively and creatively, contributing practically to improving the quality of mass education and key education of the province.
