The provincial National Assembly delegation surveyed and resolved petitions and recommendations of citizens in Tuyen Quang city.

In 2023, the People's Committee of Tuyen Quang city was assigned to resolve 19 cases (the Provincial National Assembly Delegation transferred 8 cases, the Provincial People's Committee assigned 11 cases to receive citizens). The content of the cases of citizens' complaints and petitions focused mainly on the land sector such as: resolving land disputes, land compensation, crop clearance for construction of works and projects, and granting land use right certificates.

According to the report of Tuyen Quang City People's Committee, up to now, 14 cases have been resolved, reaching 73.68%; 05 cases are being directed to be resolved, accounting for 26.31%.

Through the survey, it is shown that in recent times, the Party Committee and the government of Tuyen Quang city have strengthened the direction of specialized agencies and communes and wards to pay attention to resolving complaints and petitions of citizens in the area, not allowing hot spots of complaints, denunciations and petitions to arise; the cases transferred by the National Assembly Delegation have been basically considered by the People's Committee of Tuyen Quang city, with a roadmap to resolve and respond to citizens.

To evaluate and check the actual results of handling complaints and petitions and listen to the thoughts and aspirations of citizens and households, the Deputy Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation directly met and discussed with a number of citizens and households with petitions and complaints in My Lam ward, Luong Vuong commune and Tan Ha ward.

The Deputy Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation conducted a field survey to resolve the petition of Mr. Le Van Huan, Group 4, My Lam Ward.

Through meetings and discussions, households expressed joy and excitement when complaints and petitions were resolved by concerned agencies and units. He also propagated and explained so that households could clearly understand the regulations, respect and comply with the provisions of the law, and coordinate with competent agencies to thoroughly resolve complaints and petitions.

The survey results are the basis for the Provincial National Assembly Delegation to continue to monitor and urge the People's Committee of Tuyen Quang City to strengthen timely and effective settlement of complaints and recommendations, ensuring the rights and interests of citizens and households in accordance with the law.

He requested the Party Committee and the government of Tuyen Quang city and the communes and wards to continue to focus on considering and resolving citizen cases and voters' petitions in the city, improving the effectiveness of state management in all fields, especially land management, contributing to ensuring security, order and stabilizing people's lives.
