On March 24, the working delegation of the National Assembly's Economic and Financial Committee, led by Ms. Vu Thi Luu Mai, Vice Chairwoman of the National Assembly's Economic and Financial Committee, conducted a survey and worked in Quang Ninh on the implementation of Resolution No. 192/2025/QH15 of the National Assembly on developing specific policies for the development of Van Don economic zone. Reporting at the survey, Comrade Cao Tuong Huy, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, said: Implementing Resolution No. 192/2025/QH15 of the National Assembly on building specific policies for the development of Van Don Economic Zone, Quang Ninh province has chaired and coordinated with a number of central ministries, departments and branches to focus on building the "Project on building pilot mechanisms and policies for the development of Van Don Economic Zone, Quang Ninh province" with groups of mechanisms and policies.

Accordingly, Van Don is built towards becoming the economic and cultural center of the region with the focus on developing the service industry and industries using advanced science and technology; developing new industries, new technology, high level, focusing on logistics services, high-end tourism, modern entertainment industry of international stature, high-tech industry; center for startups, innovation and international and regional trade.

Through the survey, the delegation of the National Assembly's Economic and Financial Committee highly appreciated the proactiveness and positivity of Quang Ninh province in implementing Resolution No. 192/2025/QH15 of the National Assembly on developing specific policies for the development of Van Don Economic Zone. At the same time, it requested Quang Ninh province to continue to urgently review and develop, and submit to the Central Government for approval the policy of developing the "Project on building pilot mechanisms and policies for the development of Van Don Economic Zone, Quang Ninh province" to report to the Central Government for consideration.
