On the evening of November 17, in Thai Binh , the Department of Grassroots Culture coordinated with the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Thai Binh to organize the closing ceremony of the Red River Convergence Mass Art Performance.
This year's festival, held from November 14 to 17, attracted nearly 500 actors and musicians from 8 mass art troupes from provinces and cities: Hung Yen, Ha Nam , Hai Duong, Hai Phong, Quang Ninh, Vinh Phuc, Thanh Hoa and Thai Binh. Through traditional Cheo art, the art troupes conveyed many rich and diverse themes with the appearance of many non-professional actors performing for the first time on the regional stage.
Quang Ninh Provincial Cultural Center participated in the festival with the Cheo play “The Story of the Golden Pottery Hill”. The 45-minute Cheo play, staged by the Provincial Cultural Center, praised the fighting spirit, heroic sacrifice and feats of arms of the Tran Dynasty soldiers and people on the ancient land of Quang Ninh, setting an example for today's veterans in the work of protecting, preserving and promoting the cultural heritage values of Quang Ninh in particular and Vietnam in general, educating the tradition of patriotism, national pride, and sense of responsibility to protect cultural heritage among the entire population. At the same time, the play also contributed to widely propagating the historical, cultural and revolutionary traditions of the army and people of Quang Ninh.
This is also an opportunity to introduce unique cultural values and promote the development potential and strengths of Quang Ninh to localities across the country.
In the end, the Organizing Committee awarded many gold and silver medals to excellent actors; gold and silver medals to excellent plays. Quang Ninh troupe won 1 silver medal for the play; 1 gold medal to actress Anh Ngoc, 2 silver medals to actors Nguyen Van Tien and Quach Van Luan.
