Japanese enterprises come to Ham Kiem II Industrial Park to seek investment cooperation opportunities

On the evening of September 17, Binh Tan Investment Joint Stock Company organized an investment connection conference at Ham Kiem II Industrial Park. The event was attended by leaders of Lam Dong province, along with investors from Japan, India and many localities in the country.

This is not only an opportunity to introduce the development potential of Ham Kiem II, but also a bridge for Japanese enterprises and international partners to connect and expand strategic cooperation, contributing to increasing the occupancy rate of industrial parks in the province.

Ms. Duong Thi Kieu Anh, Vice Chairwoman of the Board of Directors of HZ Group, Vice Chairwoman of the Board of Directors of Binh Tan Investment Joint Stock Company, said that choosing the industry to invest in developing industrial parks is a challenging but also meaningful field.

According to her, industry is the foundation of the future. A successful industrial park will create thousands of jobs, help businesses feel secure in production, promote sustainable local development and contribute to connecting Vietnam more deeply into the global value chain.

Ham Kiem II Industrial Park alone has an area of 433 hectares, has been invested in synchronous technical infrastructure, in addition, the project has transparent legal status, land rental prices are at a competitive level, helping to reduce initial investment costs for investors.

Ham Kiem II Industrial Park is currently attracting the attention of many domestic and foreign investors in diverse fields such as: traffic components, electronics, construction materials, renewable energy, high-tech agriculture , food processing...

Not only stopping at manufacturing industry, Ham Kiem II is also oriented to become an integrated industrial - logistics center, serving the long-term development of the whole region.

The industrial park is implementing the construction of a 31-hectare worker housing project, including 20 apartment blocks with 5,552 worker houses and 72 commercial houses; social infrastructure works include: 3 kindergartens, 1 primary school, 1 secondary school, 1 clinic, 1 cultural house, sports ground, etc.), helping experts, workers, and laborers in the industrial park settle down.

Up to now, Ham Kiem II Industrial Park has attracted 17 investment projects (including 7 foreign-invested projects) with a total registered capital of 772 billion VND and 185 million USD. Currently, 7/17 projects are operating in the industrial park, creating jobs for more than 4,000 workers.

“In April 2025, when we officially take over Ham Kiem II Industrial Park, we see here an opportunity for a strategic land to grow and become a new industrial-logistics center of the region thanks to the advantage of connecting seaports, highways, airports and the North-South railway line,” Ms. Kieu Anh added.

At the conference, Mr. Nakayama Yasuhide, former Deputy Minister of Defense, former Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, former Minister of the Cabinet Office of Japan also had high expectations for the comprehensive, strong and trustworthy cooperation relationship between Vietnam and Japan. He said that many Japanese enterprises are currently looking for investment opportunities and expanding production in Vietnam.

Mr. Nguyen Hong Hai, Vice Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee, added that the locality has many advantages for economic development, especially in the coastal area with a continuous traffic infrastructure. Of which, the North-South Expressway section through the province (about 180 km) has been completed, shortening the time to Ho Chi Minh City to about 2.5 hours; National Highway 1A has been upgraded.

In addition, Phan Thiet airport is expected to come into operation in 2026 for civil purposes; along with the existing North-South railway line and the high-speed railway project that is currently under construction. Vinh Tan international general port has also come into operation, facilitating maritime trade.

With the connection of businesses, the accompaniment and coordination of the government and functional agencies of Lam Dong province, especially the investor of Ham Kiem II Industrial Park in investment promotion, the potential and advantages will be introduced to attract more investors to industrial parks in the province.

According to the development orientation of industrial parks and economic zones in the province until 2030, with a vision to 2050, Lam Dong will have about 34 industrial parks with a scale of about 18,838 hectares and 1 economic zone with a scale of about 27,000 hectares to form a chain of industrial parks adjacent to Dong Nai and Ho Chi Minh City in the Southern key economic region.
