Young entrepreneurs in Thanh Hoa: From pioneering startups to community activities

(Baothanhhoa.vn) - The young entrepreneur movement in Thanh Hoa is growing strongly, forming a generation of dynamic, creative and ambitious business leaders. Not only affirming their mark in the market with modern business strategies, the young entrepreneur community is also a pioneer in social security activities, contributing to spreading the spirit of "dare to think, dare to do" and responsibility to the community.

In recent years, members of Thanh Hoa Young Entrepreneurs Association have continuously received the Outstanding Young Entrepreneurs of Vietnam Award.

Ms. Trinh Thi Hong Nhung, Director of IQ Development Company Limited, is known as a young female entrepreneur starting a business in the field of education . With the determination to turn private education into a comprehensive development environment for children, she has successfully built a system of 3 preschools, and expanded into life skills training and yoga. In 2024, Ms. Nhung was honored to receive the Vietnam Outstanding Young Entrepreneur Award. Ms. Nhung shared: "Starting a business in the field of education requires perseverance and passion for the profession. I want every child to study in the best environment, where they can develop comprehensively both intellectually and physically."

Also determined to start a business right in her hometown, Ms. Tran Thi Huong, Chairwoman of the Board of Directors of Minh Huong Group Joint Stock Company, chose the construction sector as her starting point. After 8 years of operation, her company has become a prestigious brand in the design and construction of gardens and swimming pools, creating regular jobs for more than 100 workers and dozens of seasonal workers. Ms. Huong is also one of 3 young entrepreneurs of Thanh Hoa who received the Vietnam Outstanding Young Entrepreneur Award in 2023. Currently, Minh Huong Group Joint Stock Company continues to expand into the fields of commerce and beverages. Ms. Huong expressed: “After receiving the Outstanding Young Entrepreneur Award, I am very proud of what I and the company have strived to achieve. This is a great motivation for me and my colleagues to continue to strive and expand the development scale of the enterprise to many provinces and cities. In 2024, the company achieved good results with many projects in Hung Yen and the northern provinces and cities, creating more jobs for workers.”

It is known that the Vietnam Outstanding Young Entrepreneur Award is for entrepreneurs under 35 years old who are managing and operating effective businesses, actively participating in social work and community development. Up to now, Thanh Hoa has had 16 young entrepreneurs honored, contributing to affirming the achievements from persistent efforts, while encouraging the spirit of self-reliance and entrepreneurship of young people, spreading the inspiration of entrepreneurship throughout the province. Mr. Do Minh Thuy, Vice President of Thanh Hoa Young Entrepreneurs Association, commented: "The fact that many young entrepreneurs of the province are continuously in the top of Outstanding Young Entrepreneurs nationwide is a source of pride and inspiration for Thanh Hoa youth. This is also a testament to the strong development of the young entrepreneur community and is one of the five key activities of the association".

Thanh Hoa Province Young Entrepreneurs Association supports funding to build a house for Mr. Ho Cha Po's family in Ca Noi village, Pu Nhi commune.

Along with that, Thanh Hoa Young Entrepreneurs Association has also implemented many solutions to encourage and promote the entrepreneurial spirit among the young generation. The Association focuses on supporting young entrepreneurs to continue to develop, search for and train the next generation, attracting the attention of the whole society to the work of education, training and fostering young entrepreneurs. In particular, the Association encourages the establishment of young entrepreneur clubs and economic development youth clubs in localities, thereby creating an environment for young entrepreneurs and young entrepreneurs to meet, exchange information, experience and connect for production and business cooperation.

In addition to the results in production and business, the young business community of Thanh Hoa also left a strong mark with social security activities. Billions of dong are mobilized each year to build charity houses, award "Lifting Dreams" scholarships to poor but studious students, and sponsor orphans. Young businessmen also actively participate in disaster relief, organize fundraising football tournaments, and donate blood, contributing to spreading the spirit of "mutual love and support" in the community.

Currently, Thanh Hoa Young Entrepreneurs Association gathers nearly 400 members and affiliated clubs. The Association is implementing 5 strategic action programs including: developing members, building young business brands, improving management capacity, promoting business connections and promoting social responsibility, with the goal of forming a generation of entrepreneurs who not only enrich themselves but also beautify society.
