Revenue from accommodation and food services in 4 months reached 8,403 billion VND

According to the Da Nang Statistics Office, in the first four months of 2024, revenue from accommodation and catering services in the area is estimated at VND 8,403 billion, up 23.2% over the same period in 2023. Of which, accommodation revenue is estimated at VND 3,148 billion, up more than 48%; food and beverage revenue is estimated at VND 5,255 billion, up nearly 12%.

The total number of visitors staying in the first 4 months is estimated at more than 2.7 million, an increase of nearly 25% over the same period in 2023. Of which, international visitors are 957 thousand, an increase of nearly 21%; domestic visitors are more than 1.8 million, an increase of 27.3%.

Also in the first 4 months of the year, revenue from tourism services in Da Nang reached 2,226 billion VND, up 98.5% over the same period in 2023. The number of tourists on tours served by travel agencies reached 367 thousand, up 14.2%. Of which, international visitors increased by 85.3% and domestic visitors decreased by 12.6% over the same period last year.
